        “Well, you see....” Jihyun puckered his lips in thought, trying to think of any possible way to phrase it without coming off as a complete idiot. Which was easier than he liked, because in the situation he was in, Jihyun was one. “My phone battery died, I have no charger, and my car decided to pop a tire not far from here.”

        V perked up when he heard the excitement in Kanna’s voice, proud of how her Korean was coming along even while verbally bouncing up and down.         “What is it, Kanna?” V’s tone was kind, a smile obvious in it as he held the phone a little closer to his ear.         And when he received the answer, he couldn’t help but laugh. Because of course it was about pizza, but V couldn’t say he didn’t find her excitement for it cute.          “That’s wonderful. What kind of pizza was it, did you enjoy it?”
