After the state elections of North Rhine-Westphalia, the election night party of the winning CDU went too wild. Neighbors filed a complaint about an unbearable noise level at the police who handed it over to the municipal public order office of the state capital of Düsseldorf. Upon arrival, the officials took measurements and found that the music was indeed too loud. Reportedly, the music was turned so loud that the circuit breakers tripped when the winning candidate and minister president arrived and the party members greeted him, singing: “That’s how winners look, schalalalala”. The officials informed the responsible persons about the offense posing a public nuisance and ordered the party to turn off the music.
