Tokiko has unprocessed raw emotions hidden under peaceful Zen delusions. Her idol music reflects her state and combined with drugs affects listeners to feel similarly. Ri and Ken want to solve their boss’ plan involving Tokiko but she has little faith in the scientific method.

Tokiko’s rivalry with stuffed animals - she thinks *she’s* the ultimate comfort and her role in life should stay that way. She doesn’t want to know “why” or “how” but just accept the song and dance.

Ken’s dad was a security officer and unlike cold distant anime fathers he put in the effort to read his son and open him up to talking. But Ken insisted on keeping his bullying problems secret to not look weak. He already had enough of being called a girl for being bad at sports.

Businessmen talking about business things. Oh yeah, and Tokiko’s noticeably flat booty. Remember, a woman is only human if she has proper huge childbearing hips. Like how you can only be “human” if you’re adored by distant fans instead of close friends. Hmm…? 🧐

What works between these two as a duo isn’t just their size difference but Ken’s efforts to help Tokiko recover her mind as a scientist can. 🧠 She’s skilled in logic like him (not an emotional female stereotype) but has suppressed that skill in personal matters to ignore pain.
