A weird shameless

i was chatting with my mentor @miminicklin about this and felt so relieved to know i’m not alone. the beautiful thing about expressing yourself is you can choose how to do it, with whom and when. and the tricky part of suppressing is the emotions need to be released and they end up releasing themselves in a way that you don’t expect.

in religion we talk about qadr and my dearest @alchemybyamani has already taught me the importance of doing the work and leaving the rest to god/universe.

it always ALWAYS blows my mind how we think we’ve seen it all or had it all and that nothing can surprise/shock us and life does this playful thing of proving us wrong. it’s incredible. resilience. anti-fragility. there’s a bone that will push THROUGH. muscles that help us keep it together when falling apart would be as easy as a blink. i like that for us. i like that we have some weird reserve of will in us. i believe in us!!!
