My issue as exciting as it was, it finally came to an end. There was a lot argument going on between Carmona and Johnson, and there were few things I thought was interesting. I really liked my issue because it was something that has not gone to court before and it was interesting in a lot ways because there are a lot other people out there calling each other n---- and the issue never seems to go in to the court.

What really caught my attention was when Carmona said that he was not ashamed of what he did; he taught it was alright to call Johnson N----- because she was black. I learned that no matter what had happened in the past people would never forget because it. Back in 1850s different skin color used to call African-American N----- just because they were black. Today Carmona went back to the same step as it was in the past to think it was fine to do so in the work place.

The issue actually last longer than I expected there was a lot step judge went through before came to conclusion because judges didn’t know if to put him in jail or not. Judge used propaganda because the judge wanted people to believe in something differently especially when Johnson told the Judge that it is not right to call someone a N----- in the work place. The judge tried to convince people that it is alright is black and black calling each other N----- because they have the same skin.

I researched different site to see other people’ opinion about the issue, about 85% of population said that what Carmona did what definitely wrong. Just because he was white does not give him the right to call someone a N---- in the work place that is disrespectful.  What I found interesting is that Carmona said that when growing up he lived in a black neighborhood, the word N got his interest since he was little he always used that.

CNN seems more convincing than ABC News because they had a recording of how many times Rob Carmona called Brandi Johnson Nigger (the “N” word). The "N" word has different meanings depending on the speaker and how they are using it. For some, it seems OK for a black person to call another black person the “N” word but it is not acceptable when a white person uses the same word  The “N” word when used by whites is looked at as being inappropriate and disrespectful. According to Johnson, this wasn't the first time Carmona called her the “N” word. The first time Johnson herd Carmon use the word she ignored it, but when Carmona called her Nigger in the work place he had taken it to far.  The words were to hurtful and insulting for Johnson to ignore again.

CNN is more reliable and interesting because it doesn't only state the facts but also shows evidence of what happened. According to the recording in the court room, Carmona called Johnson the N-word eight times.  His words were:  “"And I'm not saying the term n------ as derogatory; sometimes it's good to know when to act like a n-----, but y'all act like n------ all the time ... both of you very bright, but both y'all act like n------ at inappropriate times," Carmona said in the audio recording.” It was also interesting to learn from CNN, that this was the first time that someone had been taken to court for using the term N-----.

One of the biased used in this article is word choice because they are using figurative language to get the audience's attention. Another bias that is being used is, an appeal to nationalism because they attempt to reach the emotions of black readers in talking about “black” people during slavery.

 Rob Carmona must pay $25,000 and his organization must pay $5,000 in punitive damages.  Carmona's actions were not appropriate anywhere an especially not in the work place. No matter what race you are, you should be treated with the same respect. The issued is still not totally resolved. I am looking forward to find out what will happen next.

I was watching the news and I find an issue that really caught my eye. In New York a manage Caromona called Johnson an black and American employee the “N’ word in the work place which was not the appropriate thing to do.  Johnson sued Caromona for calling him the “N” word doing work. The issued was carried to court last Tuesday, According to the judge the “N” word is a word use back doing slavery time. Johnson was hurt by Carmona’s word he considered it as Carmona called him his slave and he was embarrassed for his boss calling him the “N” word something Johnson did not expect his boss to do.

  In black culture black and black can call each other the “N” word because they have the same skin but, other color cannot call African and American the name “N” word it is racist and insulting. Carmona was caught on audio and was played in the court on Tuesday afternoon. “ You and (previous employee) are just alike. Both of you are smart as s--, but dumb as s--. You know what it is…both of you are N------, y’all act like N----- all the time,” carmona said to Johnson according to the audio evidence played in the court. Carmona called Johnson the n-word eight times during the record. “And I’m not saying the term n----- as derogatory; sometimes it’s good to know when to act like a n-----, but y’all like n----- all the time.

  I am really interested in tracking this issue because it I want to find out what would happen to Carmona. it is the first time something like this went straight to court, there is a lot people insults people but I never heard a boss insulting someone and calling them the n-word it is disrespectful and Johnson has the right to be frustrated about. That is why I want to find out what would happen next.
