The Dancestors aren’t friendly with eachother on a wide scale and so I guess it’d make sense if they just, hid information like that from eachother

With them playing sgrub for the longest of the 4 groups it’s honestly a surprise only Aranea and Meenah godtiered

There are doomed versions of them that do have godtier outfits on so they probably did level high enough to be eligible for godtiering but just didn’t go through with it

Most of them don’t seem like they cared about sgrub that much so I guess that’s a valid reason the alpha timeline versions of them didn’t godtier

What if more of the dancestors actually were godtiered but just didn’t wear the outfit and hid their wings, probably would just be the ones that cared enough about winning the game, which I think would’ve just been Kankri and Mituna

Shout out Kankri Vantas for showing that you can have good values and care about issues and still be an asshole

I see a lot of fan depictions of him with a jock build and have him look like an actual greaser which y’know I get, the greaser thing is the only thing he has going for him on the attractiveness scale to most people, but he’s also just a larper loser wannabe greaser and he doesn’t strike me as the type of person to have the will to put in the effort to work out consistently I think he’s a scrawny loser who only ever won fights because he has the ahabs crosshair or whatever it’s called.

The stuff they do with him in source material also really disappoints me because we get NOTHING when it comes to who he was before dying in the slightest other than the fact he was into magic but lost hope because someone told him to stop being a loser, kinda implied Kurloz was that guy which means Kurloz has done one (1) good thing and it was be mean to Cronus. He says he was pals with Mituna before the accident (another event kinda implied to have Kurloz behind it all which negates his goodnoodle sticker) which could either be genuine on Cronus’s part and he was actually pals with Mituna before the accident but I feel like if anything he’s just exaggerating the relationship he had with Mituna like how Eridan really wants to be pitch with Sollux while Sollux isn’t interested and just platonically hates him. 2 for 2 on Amporas viewing their relationships with the Captor and Vantas as being more important than said Captor and Vantas view.

Cronus doesn’t have anything going for him other than his visual aesthetic, I guess people like how he’s a fucking chud loser but even then Eridan fills that role better and has some other stuff going for him. There’s also definitely a subset of Cronus fans the only like him because they know he’s seen as a bad person and want to be edgy, once again another character fills the role of being a dickhead that you can like and it’s Caliborn because at least Caliborn is relevant and has pretty funny bits and interesting dynamics with other characters.

Last note, I think Cronus x Kankri is an absolute yaoi fluff slop ship. Their personalities don’t mesh in a way where they’d genuinely like spending time with eachother and them hanging out would only make sense as them not having anyone else who can tolerate them and once again that’s ANOTHER role that another character fills better than Cronus, Horuss. Horuss is the only character we see have a genuine postive reaction to Kankri going on a monologue and they do the “sexual prude x freaky guy” dynamic better because Horuss is more of an actual freaky guy than Cronus Cronus is just an incel. A lot lot of Crokri content I see is very fluffy and I don’t mind fluff but these two would never in a million years have a type of relationship where they’d do fluffy stuff like at least most other ships could to some degree make sense doing fluffy cute stuff together but Cronus and Kankri as a romantic pairing is actually relationship actively harming both people involved since they wouldn’t be able to progress as individuals if together.
