work tonight was rough, it was a quiet night but i felt like i was both made of mud and moving through mud in every possible sense. i am so so exhausted.

i’m considering studying education in australia, i’ve heard all the headlines about teachers working very long hours for too little pay, and the stat about 25% of teachers leaving the profession in the first five years etc, but i also think it would be a privilege to work with children, and be a positive influence in their lives, does anyone have any nuggets of advice or warning?
