Smash tournaments? Didnât ring any bells in Cloudâs already extremely foggy mind, the only thing he really could think of that sounded somewhat close to that was the battle square, but the shorter man had already said that wasnât it.
âSorry. I canât remember what youâre talking aboutâŚâ He leaned down slightly however, bringing himself to Luigiâs level so he could hold out his hand for him to shake. âWe must have met at some point though, since you know my name. I canât recall yours though.â
Not being remembered was... Something Luigi was used to, unfortunately, so it didnât really surprise him any when Cloud said that he didnât remember his name. Oh, well. It was fine, right? Maybe a touch of disappointment hit the man -- but he could get over it.
âI-itâs okay! Donât worry about it.â Instead of complaining, the mustachioed man took his hand in his, with a slight shake to his own. âIâm Luigi! Iâm Marioâs little brother. Well, little big brother,â he giggled softly, âbut yeah. I didnât really like those Smash tournaments, anyway. I just went because I was invited... Iâm not much a fan for fighting.â
After taking his hand back, he shrugged. âDespite what I said about it being, um, too quiet, I much prefer it like this than on those battlefields.â He paused. âAre you really sure you donât remember? They were a big thing...â
