"I…I wouldn’t mind trying some of that if it was with you Arthur-kun."

⎡He pulled one of his pocket and smiled⎤

"Thank you Arthur-kun."

"It’s no problem. I’m not very busy today so is there anything in particular that you would like to do?"

"What about the park then?"

"Brussels waffle and Liege waffle?" {kiku tops his head slightly}

"Liege waffles tend to be sweeter, if that’s what you’re feeling?"

"Yes that will be fine, any type of waffles would be actually."

{kiku nodded and began to wander around the shop}

"Thank you. A lot of these book were here when my uncle ran the store. If there was a book he heard about and he could find a place to put it, he got it. I think he read almost all of the book we got." She smiled fondly at the memory of him consistently buying new book for the store and reading them nonstop.

"Even almost all of these books is a lot to read! Your uncle must really love books, but I think if I had the time I would also read as much as him."

"He would try to finish one book everyday." She smiled as she rang up his books. "He just loved books."

"You speak so fondly of your uncle, he seems like a nice man. I would love to meet him someday."

"I’m sure he would have loved to meet you too."

{kiku noticed how upset madeline looked and his smile disappeared}

"No! He, just passed away last year. I guess I’m not really over it."

"Oh no, Madeline-san I'm sorry for being so insensitive and also for your loss."
