just write a diary, it has helped me sooo much and i dare say it has been the most developing thing i’ve done while learning french, nothing else compares

1. you’re exposed to the language daily

2. you quickly see which words are missing from your vocabulary

3. you learn to write about the things you think about a lot

4. learning to actually think in your target language

5. having to look up words and when reading the entry back a couple of days later you can’t even remember which words you didn’t know

6. going back to the earlier entries and seeing all the mistakes and knowing how much better you’ve become

7. when you’ve been writing for a few months and your target language becomes a natural way for expressing yourself

8. when you’ve been writing for a few months and you start seeing the diary writing as a way of self-expression and stressrelief, and the language learning aspect becomes natural and secondary

Finally after working on this cospay for months I finally finished it in time for Derpycon. I wasn’t too happy with the Ideya (I do plan to make a new one in the future) But over all I’m happy with the outfit though after wearing that huge hat for twelve hours I such a headache. I never hated face paint so much. I also want to let out the gloves a bit, the were too tight and numbed my fingers.  I was so happy to win second place on Saturday for this cosplay and I totally flumped on stage by going the wrong way, going on stage will never stop being so nerve wrecking for me.XD

I also won second place on Friday for Bakura. Then I started to cry for an hour out of joy. Thanks you to ll those in the cosplay room for the support! I was an emotional wreck.XD

A Tasty Solution 

Saltwater Brewery created an answer to floating plastic six pack rings harming the ocean environment and its creatures. Their rings are edible and made from wheat and barley leftover from the beer making process. It’s a great way for the brewery to cut back on waste product and provides a snack for fish and other sea dwelling animals. If more companies recycled like this maybe we could cut down on the amount of garbage polluting our waters daily.
