After getting married in a private ceremony in their parents’ backyard - Mike and Julia had a fall wedding reception at the Evanston Women’s Club with their extending family and friends.

Jesse + Brett tied the knot (literally!) on a boat in Deep Cove, British Columbia. They then treated their closest friends to dinner and dancing at Vancouver’s L'Abbatoir - one of Gastown’s greatest restaurants.

Here are 10 pics from a December wedding I shot in Chicago last month!  That's right... Vicki and Jason bravely posed for wedding portraits while facing Windy City winter temps!  Their wedding was a blast with almost all guests dancing late into the night - excited to celebrate a great beginning to many years of happiness for this kind and fun couple.

While people say rain on your wedding day is good luck, I'd venture to guess that seeing migrating whales on a rare sunny day will serve as the lucky charm for this great pair!
