The day has come. As many of you have already noticed, the olliecrate website has been down for about a week now. The last shipment is still in the shippers warehouse, but I do not have the funds to ship it. I printed labels according to what the customers paid, but that was not good enough for the shipper, because it does not cover the weight for this large package, and I now need close to $2000 to print new labels. I do not have this money, nor will I anytime soon. Because of this, many people have reversed their olliecrate charges, which has put my bank account in the negative (-$1500 last I checked) so a timely outcome is looking even less possible. Since the beginning of OllieCrate, I have put every penny brought in, back into each box, in fact often the shipping would cause me to spend hundreds of dollars of my own money above what was taken in. I knew that with no margins, I would be susceptible to this sort of outcome, and sure enough, it happened during a time when all of my personal money was taken by my soon to be ex wife, and I was living in my car. I'm doing a little better, but still suffering from depression, and having all sorts of other troubles, financially and mentally. I apologize to everyone that has tried to contact me, and has basically been ignored, this business cannot be ran from a cell phone, and I don't know what to do anymore, besides maybe encourage you to reverse the fees like others have already done. If I had just sent stickers and a lump of wax, like so many of the other olliecrate copycats have done, maybe we would still be going, but I never wanted to do that to you the customer, I have always tried to make a box that would stoke me out, and I didn't try to sell the service as marketing or advertising to the companies I have supported, I always tried to make sure I was being fair to them as well. In today's skateboard world, there are a lot of hands being held out wanting "free stuff" all over the place. They're sending sponsor me videos, but had no clue who we were, or what we were about, others would just contact me asking for a free crate to show their friends. Well, I am done. Again, I am sorry.
