The last few days have been difficult...difficult for me to understand. 

So, what does an artist do? They escape into art.

Tuesday night I couldn't sleep. Around 2am (when it seemed things weren't going well) I went outside to watch the sky and process what was clearly happening. It was overcast, completely grey, and I thought: How perfect. This is exactly how I feel. Then the clouds shifted, they thinned, and I began to see stars peek and shine through the breaks. And I cried and cried.

The last few days have been difficult for me to accept. 

Nobody I truly love supported that piece of shit. And that makes me feel better. Now is a time to build strength, reclaim our normalcy, establish boundaries, and I will BURN down as many bridges as it takes to help myself and the ones I love feel safe.
