In case you missed it! My first vinyl record came out on Friday on @conundrumrecords This project has been in the works since 2020 with lots of thought and intention into launching my own label. The tracks here represent a diverse direction of the label, while still maintaining a unique and signature sound. I was drawn to the name Conundrum in reflection to the world we live in today, the life we live is a conundrum. We are constantly figuring ourselves and the world out; as well as the structure of todays society. No one knows the clear answer, but we all do the work to find one within ourselves. This ultimately is what we can call our meaning of life….quite the conundrum. I hope you enjoy the music as much as I did making it. CNDRM001 - @stephendisario - Lights Down Under EP is coming digitally + physically March 17th on a limited 12” crystal transparent vinyl press. Pre-orders for the record are now available across your usual vinyl online shops. We highly recommend pre-orders as this guarantees placement for our label to come in record shops in the future. Stephen Disario delivers four-tracks as the debut release on his newly-launched imprint, and in so doing sets the tone for the output we can expect in years to come: driving basslines and infectious percussion crafted with meticulous perfection. Throughout the four tracks, Disario showcases what he does so well as a producer: groovy, funky techno that will always find its home in a proper underground techno setting. The EP starts off with "Under The Rug," an hypnotic masterpiece that sucks listeners in and takes them deeper and deeper as the track's intensity builds and reaches its peak. "Walking Through Trees" is next, picking up the tempo with an added groove carrying the track throughout... a real dance floor mover. The pace continues with "The Marathon," a percussion-driven stomper characterized by well-crafted peaks and valleys permeated by distorted eerie vocals. To conclude the EP, "Lights Down Under" showcases Disario's other signature techno soundscape.
