horror -n- the thought of you missing
***
It was Halloween and it seemed everyone they knew was at Hogsmeade. Everyone except for them of course. While even Percy enjoyed the occasionally butterbeer at the Three Broomsticks, having Elle in his lap, legs wrapped around his waist as she kissed his neck made him drunker than even the strongest fire whiskey.
And she was wearing black lingerie.
Of course, they had studied at first, for five hours they did nothing but work, but the moment she got bored she feigned heat was getting to her and her shirt came off. That was the end of studying, not that Percy would have been able to focus anyway. Now his mind was practically liquid. That however did not stop him from worrying.
“Elle?”
“Yeah?” she asked, lips still pressed to her neck.
“You didn’t want to go to Hogsmeade?” God, he really couldn’t just enjoy anything could he?
“Nah, until The Weird Sisters or Green Day start playing in the square it’s not really my scene.”
“Green Day?”
“Muggle band, don’t worry about it. Why? Am I boring you?” Grand, now he had offended her.
“No, no of course not. I just-.”
“I’m kidding,” she laughed before kissing him softly. She pulled away and he tucked a piece of hair that had fallen from her braid behind her ear. She shifted in his lap, avoiding his eyes as he did so.
“Why braids?” She paused before answering, and Percy was sure she was considering whether to tell him to mind his own business or answer truthfully.
“Mostly because my mother doesn’t like them.” She had gone with the truth.
“And the rest?”
“Because I like doing them. It’s meditative.” Percy snorted; she didn’t seem like the type to even consider meditation. She quirked an eyebrow. “Don’t believe me.”
“I just can’t imagine you meditating.”
“Not that type of meditating, you dolt. Here, you try.” She began unbraiding her hair, pulling the elastics onto his wrist.
“I don’t know how to braid hair,” he stuttered, and she rolled her eyes.
“I figured. Don’t worry, I’ll show you.” She finished pulling out her hair on one side and the turned nimble fingers towards the other. When she was done, he couldn’t stop staring. Her hair was longer than he had once thought, falling almost to the end of her back and the crimped waves made her look almost ethereal. The small fly-aways were her halo, highlighted by the light of the setting sun as it came through the stain glass windows. It was strange how different someone could look based solely on their hair, but Elle was a completely different person. She turned around as she slid off his lap and onto her knees. He swallowed again, doing his best not to think about it. “I’ll do the first side and you watch, and then you’ll do the other okay?” He didn’t fully trust himself to speak, so he simply nodded, completely forgetting she couldn’t see him.
He watched with unadulterated fascination as her fingers pulled hair around itself, twisting and folding tight braids against her scalp and then all the way down her back. He wished she would leave it down, but when she finished, he allowed her hands to guide his, nonetheless. It took him a couple tires to get the pattern right, but when he finished, as she ran her fingers down his work he couldn’t help but feel her appreciation.
“I’m impressed,” she teased, turning around and resting her chin on his knee. He swallowed again, the position had only gotten worse for his concentration.
“Didn’t think I could?” he managed to ask and she laughed.
“I didn’t. Last man to do my hair was my father and the snarls were awful.”
“I like to think I’m better with my hands than your father,” he said, instantly regretting it when she burst out laughing, disgust curling her lip.
“Oh gross! Please, I beg you, don’t compare yourself to my dad.” Percy could feel blush warming his cheeks as she continued to laugh. He would have defended himself, or apologized, or anything to assuage his mistake had a scream not echoed from the hallway. Her laughter died and he jumped up quickly, pulling on his robe.
“I have to go; it might be nothing…”
“But it also might be something.” Percy nodded sullenly, stalking towards the door.
“Go be a hero, Head Boy.” She yanked him down by his tie to kiss him once more before waving him a goodbye.
He grinned and found himself unable to stop until he reached the crowds that had gathered around the Gryffindor portrait. That was when it seemed like he wouldn’t be smiling for the rest of the day.
“I am Head Boy, let me through,” he yelled over the crowd, shoving through layers of younger students. It this was merely impatience he was going to have a fit. First, screaming over nothing and then the audacity of the Fat Lady, it was enough to make even the most levelheaded explode. But when he reached the top and found the three jagged slashes through the portrait he was instantly on high alert. He could hear Dumbledore pushing through crowd as he had, and he did is best to get them to move, but then he was being trampled as someone called, having found the Fat Lady. He pressed himself against the wall as tightly as he could. He took elbows to the stomach and heavy shoes to feet as they all rushed to find their beloved portrait. He tried to join the rush but kept getting shoved back against the wall. He scowled and shoved them to the side, trampling first years as he went. The rumors flew back through the herd and when he finally caught up to Dumbledore he realized they were all true. She was hiding in a field of cows, screaming about Sirius Black in the castle. His eyes widened and he would have run to find Elle in that very moment had Dumbledore not grabbed his arm.
“Mr. Weasley, I would like you to find Professor Lupin and instruct him to find Mr. Potter and then assist in escorting the students down to the Great Hall. They will sleep there tonight.”
“Yes, Professor.” And then he turned, pushing back through the mob. He made his way towards the classroom where he regularly got destroyed. He threw open the door and found Lupin already talking to the boy he was supposed to be watching.
“Percy,” the professor said surprised and Percy quickly straightened his appearance.
“May I speak to you, Professor?” With a brisk nod, Lupin joined him in the hallway. He filled him in quickly, talking as fast as could. He answered all his questions, anxiously waiting for the moment when he would finally send him away. When he did, Percy had never run faster. He grabbed students who still dared to wander the hallways and hurried them towards the Great Hall.
And that’s all he did for the next five hours.
By the time bells were declaring midnight, Percy wanted nothing more than to crash. He had herded third years, stolen points from seventh years who felt above the rules, and assuaged fears of everyone in between. The doors of the Great Hall were shut and locked. He was dreaming of his bed as he half listened to Dumbledore give instructions. He might have fallen asleep while standing up if a scream didn’t echo around the mostly silent hall. He turned to the Gryffindor corner while Dinah was fighting against the hold of Professor Snape.
Students were sitting up from their beds to watch the excitement.
“Go back to bed,” Percy ordered as he walked towards the commotion. He pulled Dinah away from Snape who looked ready to curse her into submission if someone didn’t remove her immediately.
“Dinah-.”
“No, you listen here, Percy Weasley. You and then entire Ministry of Magic can’t stop me, my best friend is out there with a serial killer,” she yelled and Percy froze, he had forgotten about Elle. Dinah almost slipped out of his grasp, but he pulled her back.
“Dinah, you need to stay here.”
“Oh fuck off, I’m going and-.”
“I’m going to go find her, but I need you to stay here.” Dinah eyed him suspiciously before relaxing. He waited a moment, just to make sure she wasn’t going to run, before releasing her. “Now please, go back to bed.” She took a step back, blue eyes never leaving him. “I promise, I’ll find her.”
“If she’s dead, I’ll kill you Weasley,” she snapped and as Percy marched past curious students and nervous professors, he prayed she wasn’t dead, and not only for his sake.
The castle was completely empty, his footsteps echoing against the stone walls. He wanted to be quiet, the thought of being caught by the murderer sending him spiraling. He checked the classroom where he had left her, the astronomy tower, and every classroom in between. Now he was standing in the library, hollering her name now that Madam Pince wasn’t here to scold him. He was about ready to go and fall under Dinah’s knife when his eyes turned to the restricted section.
He pushed open the gate and walked down the dark aisles until he arrived at the end, where the only table in the restricted section resided. And there she was, sleeping on a book. He let out a breath and fell to his knees beside her. He placed a hand on her shoulder and shook her awake. She glanced up; the edge of the book pressed into her cheek.
“Oh hi,” she said sleepily, a yawn stretching across her face.
“Oh hi? Oh hi? I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” he yelled, and she jumped, anger replacing shock as quickly as it had come.
“Last time I checked; I don’t answer to you.”
“Elle-.”
“No, just cause I’m snogging you doesn’t mean that I have answer your every beck and call.”
“Elle-.”
“Stop interrupting, I-.”
“Sirius Black is in the castle.”
“I- wait what?”
“That’s what the screams were about. Sirius Black attacked the Fat Lady. Everyone is in the Great Hall, except you. Dinah was freaking out and I came to find you. That’s why I’ve been searching for you,” he rushed out. He waited for backlash, but the only thing that came was her lips against his. He pulled her closer and he realized, sleep wasn’t really what he needed at all. He relaxed into her hold, pulling her down to the floor.
“Thank you,” she whispered. He nodded, kissing her again, relishing in the feeling of his muscles relaxing at her touch. “I’d give you a proper thank you, but I think you said there’s a murderer in the castle.”
“Of course,” he whispered breathlessly, cursing every word that came out of his mouth. When she was kissing him, he almost didn’t give a damn about Head Boy, or Sirius Black, or anything in between. She helped him up, throwing her bag over her shoulder and leading him out of the library. He was itching to touch her, but he kept his hands by his side, sparing a touch only as he ushered her through the door. She leaned into his hand before pulling away towards the Gryffindor corner, meeting Dinah halfway. He watched as Dinah hugged her and wished he could do the same. Thirty minutes ago, he had been sure she was dead and now he had to give her back up to the masses. He wished he had been able to convince her to stay hidden a bit longer.
He shook his head, that was dangerous thought, one that implied real care, one that study buddies and snog sessions didn’t allow. She glanced over her shoulder as Dinah dragged her away, mouthing one final ‘thank you’. He awkwardly raised his hand before returning to the Professors.
“I’m glad you were able to find Ms. Wilton,” McGonagall whispered, and his eyes shot to hers, nervous that she knew, nervous that everyone knew.
“Uh, yes, me too.” She turned away and Percy breathed deeply before allowing his eyes to wander back Elle and Dinah. They were whispering to one another, sharing a bed mat as they spoke. He turned away before anyone noticed and followed McGonagall towards the rest of the professors, ignoring all instinct to return his gaze and pushing away all dangerous thoughts

mirrors -n- eyes that stare back haunt me, but when you join the reflection becomes clear.

Professor Lupin quickly became Elle’s favorite teacher. It wasn’t difficult when the rest of her favorites had raging flaws.
Professor Sprout was incessantly bubbly. She never had anything bad to say about anyone, ever. And while many students found that to be a blessing, Elle couldn’t stand it. Nothing said lack of a challenge like a teacher who never gave bad marks. Some days she messed up purpose, begging for a snap, but one never came. She was always full of sweet, encouraging words that never seemed to do Elle’s work justice. Her sole saving grace was that she allowed Elle to wander around the greenhouse after hours if only to understand her garden’s magical properties and the way they could be combined and altered.
Professor McGonagall cared far too much for technique and not enough about creativity. The lion for example, a beautiful display of transfiguration and she was being punished for it. Didn’t matter that no one had ever been able to accomplish that as sixth year, all that mattered was that her technique was off.
And it goes without saying Professor Snape hated her. The only teacher who managed to keep her challenged while still allowing for creativity hated her for the color of her tie. It’s not to say that in the beginning she didn’t try to make him love her work, and she had certainly succeeded, but that didn’t stop him from hating her every being.
Professor Lupin was the wonder of all three. Creative, challenging, and without the obsession of technique, plus he didn’t seem to hate anyone. Her certainly tolerated her and her temper towards her partner.
It didn’t matter that Percy kept her company in empty classrooms, she still wanted nothing more than embarrass in front of everyone who dared to watch. And as she walked into class that beautiful Wednesday morning that was all she had on her mind, beating Percy Weasley into the ground while wide blue eyes asked why.
However, that didn’t seem to be the plan for this particular Wednesday.
Desks were pushed to the sides and a large shaking wardrobe sat in the center.
Clouds were covering her Wednesday morning.
Percy fell into place beside her, a single finger drawing down her arm alerting her to his presence. She would have flinched a month ago, but a month ago she didn’t have the Head Boy touching her whenever he got close enough. There was no romance to it, neither them were stupid enough to fall for that, but it certainly was edging on addiction. When she had first suggested it she had assumed it was simply an attempt to keep her mind busy and to relieve herself of the incessant drive to kiss him again.
Instead of relieving she only wanted more, and from the number of times he had dragged her into the Restricted Section of the library he had once dubbed to pure, she was sure he was suffering from the same craving.
His finger never left her arm until Lupin stepped in from his office, and then he was back to being the perfect child. It was a good thing he did too, because when Lupin announced the creature hiding in that wardrobe, she might have ended anyone who touched her.
The dreaded Boggart.
She considered refusing, storming away and hiding until class was over. But that would be defeat, and she would let Percy Weasley face the thing he feared very most if she wasn’t going to do the same. That would be cowardice and just as her tie stated, she was not a coward.
Lupin reminded that it was just for fun, one last go around before he had it destroyed. There would be no grade, it was just a bit of relaxer, he assured them.
Elle felt anything but relaxed.
She made her way as close to the end as she could manage, head held high. She thought she had gotten past the lesson of Boggarts in her third year without a hitch. Quirrell was too much of a coward to bring live creatures into the classroom so it had been nothing more than bookwork and theory. Now the shaking wardrobe was standing before her, mocking her and Percy, who had somehow ended up behind her, was going to see her fail for the first time ever.
She gnawed her black nails as she drew closer to the front, biting off the carefully grown ends. Five people, then three, and then one. It turned into a ghost, and then as she cast the spell is dropped to the floor like a forgotten bedsheet. She closed her eyes and took a step forward, breathing deeply.
The sheet rose, a body forming beneath it and then with familiar fingers, it pulled the sheet away revealing something that was almost a mirror. She looked the way she should have, the way her mother would have liked it. Classic, a beige two-piece set, nude pumps, no eyeliner. She didn’t have braids, her mother hated those too. Instead it was let loose, long curls, she could imagine a ribbon tying them back She was longer, more fluid this way. And her grey eyes, the ones that always stared back at her in the mirror, were looking at her the same way she looked at Percy Weasley. Her mirror’s wand was out before she could react, and she was flying across the classroom into the desks that had been placed against the wall.
That dreaded fear of the what-could-have-beens. A stronger, more respected witch stared down at her, mocking her as she advanced. Elle yanked her wand out.
“R-riddikulus,” she stuttered, but there was no fun idea to trade out for the fear that kept inching closer. And then, out of the corner of her eye she caught sight Percy, watching with something that fell between terror and apt fascination. She uttered the spell again, determined to beat him, but her mirror kept advancing. “Riddikulus, Riddikulus, Riddikulus,” she screamed until someone stepped in front of her.
She thought it was Lupin at first, until her mirror image turned to Percy’s. The Head Boy stared down his mirror, and with only a slight tremor to his voice raised his wand and uttered the magical words. It dashed into a thousand pieces like she wished it had done for her.
Lupin was speaking but she couldn’t hear a thing. The blood rushing through her ears made her dizzy as Percy turned, and without a hint of arrogance helped her to her feet. She stumbled a little, catching his shoulder as she tipped forwards.
He caught his hand on her waist. It slid beneath her robe and to the small of her back, a small comfort.
“Meet me.”
“Where?”
“Anywhere,” she gasped before pulling away and gathering her things. Lupin tried to talk to her, as did Dinah, but all she wanted to do was run, and that’s what she did. She relished in the sounds of her boots hitting the floor, grateful they weren’t heels.
How could she be so stupid?
She could already hear the rumors they would make about her. The first time she had encountered a boggart she had been eleven. She had whispered the same things to herself that they would whisper to each other. It hadn’t attacked her that first time, it hadn’t felt threatened, not when she terrified at the sight of herself climbing out of an old trunk. She thought she had been going crazy, she had cried to Madam Pomfrey for what seemed like hours, unable to articulate the sight. Eventually everything was explained, and she was excused to go to her room, but she had vowed to beat it, whatever it meant, the next she encountered a boggart it was going to be different.
It clearly wasn’t.
She ran a hand over a braid and charged into Moaning Myrtle’s bathroom, throwing her book bag against the wall, and staring into the mirror. That was who she wanted to see, this was her, not that preppy priss who managed to tower over her with a single raised eyebrow.
Her grey eyes were still lined with black liner and her hair was still tied in two long braids. That mirage was just that, an illusion that existed only within her mind. She punched the mirror, watching as it shattered upon impact. Carelessly, she watched her knuckles bleed before whirling around at the sound of a girlish laugh. Myrtle was peering over a stall, resting her head on her folded arms. Couldn’t she leave someone to angst in peace?
“Fuck off.”
“It’s my bathroom,” she reminded indignantly.
“Fine, I’ll leave.” She huffed and gathered the books that had spilled across the floor during her tantrum. Blood soaked onto the pages and she swore violently. Could this day really get any fucking worse? She slammed open the door again, ignoring the whispers of the girls who had watched her enter the bathroom in the first place.
“I’d be scared if I looked like that too,” one whispered and Elle rolled her eyes. Fucking fourth years. She allowed her gaze to meet the girl who had spoke and pulled out her wand.
“Want to say that to my fucking face?” The fourth year squeaked as she advanced. Elle was convinced she would have ruined those gossiping pricks entire week had Percy not walked around the corner looking for her.
“Elle!” She considered ignoring him but decided snogging in some dark corner would be better for her mood than removing femurs from insolent children. She sent them one last fiery glare before stalking towards Weasley.
If he wanted anything other than snog her, she was going to explode.
She followed him silently, itching to get her hands on that cocky ginger. The moment they turned the corner into an empty corridor, she pounced. He pulled her into a broom cupboard, locking it behind them as she attacked him with lustful ferocity. She ripped open his shirt, black nails raking along pale skin.
“Elle, you’re bleeding,” he muttered breathlessly.
“Fuck, sorry,” she swore. Truth be told, she had forgotten the moment he had stepped into view. She pulled out her wand to heal the cuts, but he had already beat her to it. With soft movements the cuts closed, and the stains disappeared until there was no evidence of the injury. She sucked in a deep breath as he watched her, already itching to kiss him again.
“Do you want to talk about it?” he asked as she grabbed him.
“No,” she mumbled against his lips, but he pushed her away, hands pressing against her shoulders. “Percy, I said I don’t want to talk about it.” She leaped forward again, but he shoved her against the wall. A mop or two clattered to the ground at the impact and she swallowed.
“Sorry,” he muttered, loosening his grip. She wished he hadn’t apologized. “It’s just, you’re not the only one who saw yourself today.” Elle blinked as she thought back to the moments when he had stepped in front of her. He had seemed without fear then, but now he was shifting nervously, unable to meet her eyes. She reached out and took his face more tenderly than she had anticipated. Blue met grey and her stomach rolled uncomfortably.
“Thank you,” she muttered before kissing him. That was uncharacteristically tender too. When she pulled away, he was smiling softly. “And I’m sorry I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Elle, I’m not saying you have to. I just want you to know you’re not the only one who had to face yourself today.” Behind sharp eyes, Elle could feel herself welling up. From the first time she had seen herself staring back she had felt like an enigma that couldn’t be solved. She had been a solitary being, but now Percy, who couldn’t be more different was the same. Her stomach turned again, and she nodded, quickly kissing him before he noticed the tears building in her eyes.
This time he didn’t try to push her away but pulled her closer. She dug her fingers through his hair and didn’t hesitate to respond as he wrapped her legs around his waist, pushing her up against the wall. Fingers slipped beneath her skirt, denting soft skin with hunger.
“Fuck,” she growled as he wrapped a braid around his fist, tugging it until her neck was exposed to soft lips and harsh teeth. She grabbed his shoulders, holding on tightly as he almost hesitantly nipped at her pulse. He ran his mouth up her neck and along her jaw, nipping at her ear until she was moaning his name. He found her lips again to quiet her soft whispers, catching the taste of his name leaving her lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he lowered her legs, pulling him tighter against her lips.
“Good talk,” he muttered when they pulled away for air and she laughed.
“Excellent talk, best one we’ve had yet.”
“Shall we talk some more?”
“McGonagall’s going to hang us.”
“I’ve already explained it to her. You’ve ran off and I’ve gone to check on you, it’s terribly tragic really,” he whispered, and she grinned before pressing herself against him once more.
“I knew I was snogging a genius.” And then they proceeded to talk much, much more.

black lingerie -n- you said you matched it to the color of your heart but as I undressed your soul I knew you had lied

“We’re going to get right into it,” Lupin announced as he passed back the pop quizzes from his first class. Percy glanced down at the paper, almost perfect marks. More surprising, was at the top of his paper, beside his name was Wilton. He looked around in panic.
Had he written that?
Was he already blowing their cover?
“Some of you may have already noticed, but there is a name beside your own. That individual scored the closest to you on the pop quiz, and consequently will be your dueling partner for the rest of the year. Now there will be no need to change seats,” he added as students began groaning about their partners. He wanted to look back and see Elle’s reaction, but he wasn’t sure he really wanted to know.
He had always been a little hesitant of the girl. She had ‘bad news’ written across her forehead in the same thick liner he had never seen her without. And there were of course the rumors he tried not to put much stock in. Somehow, now that he knew her, she was more intimidating than before, and smarter, and more of an enigma.
Funny how that works out, isn’t it? He knew that while she looked like Halloween, she tasted like May Day. He knew what her skirt felt like in his hands, and he knew that the space between her thighs were warmer than any sweater. He knew how she kissed, and yet he didn’t really know anything about her.
“Hey, head boy,” she said, startling him out of his thoughts. He turned to find her standing behind him, arms crossed with an amused expression, “Are we going to practice or are you going to keep staring at your test.”
“Practice?”
“Nonverbal spells. Weren’t you paying attention?”
“I guess not,” he muttered, and she rolled her eyes before beckoning him to their corner. “I didn’t know you were second in the class, congratulations,” he offered as he followed her. He didn’t know why he had said anything about the grade, it was without tact, but he certainly hadn’t expected her to laugh coldly. A shiver ran down his spine while he placed himself the correct number of paces away, pulling himself together as he tried to shake out the distraction. By the time he was ready, she was already pointing her white, slender wand in his direction. She looked nonchalant and unprepared, but he could tell from the tightness in her wrist she would begin as soon as he did.
He flicked his wand, aiming to disarm her, but she blocked it with ease. He went again, determined to keep her on the defense. They were entirely silent as she gracefully defended every attack he had to offer.
Then he switched from simple disarming to jinxes.
She didn’t miss a beat. Her defensive charms grew stronger until not only were they protecting her but pushing him backwards. They stepped into another group’s area, but it didn’t really matter, their silent lightshow had already captured the rest of the class’s attention. Percy even caught sight of Lupin watching them from where he had been helping another group. His back hit a desk as she advanced, something dangerous in her eyes. Using his wand, he whisked it towards her in a desperate attempt to slow her, but she hopped onto the desks surface. She stared down at him, looking like pure power. She threw her first jinx, and then another, and another, almost quicker than he was able to throw up shield charms.
Sweat dripped down his forehead, stinging his eyes, but she didn’t look like she was tired at all. She looked like she had just entered the ring and was prepared to destroy whoever tried to face her.
That just so happened to be Percy.
He could feel the spells getting more dangerous, pushing against every counter curse and defense with no remorse. He stumbled over a chair and hit the ground. Quiet, cool, calculation turned to a smile as she hopped down from the desk, wand still raised. His wand had fallen out of his hand and whatever spell she decided to cast was going to be the end of the duel. She raised it and he scrambled for his wand in a last-ditch effort to keep it going, but a shield formed between them before either could make a move.
“That class, was an excellent demonstration of dueling,” Lupin said, clapping as he stepped forward. He spoke quietly to Elle, but from where Percy lay, he couldn’t hear, he could only see the angry look Elle’s face soften before seizing up again. She opened her mouth the argue, but Lupin must have said something to keep her quiet, because she instantly shoved past him and around the shield charm.
Lupin was chuckling as he helped Percy from the ground, offering him a ‘good job’ before dismissing the class. Percy turned to look for Elle, but she was already there, shoving a piece of parchment into his chest.
“I’m number fucking one,” she snapped before marching away, Dinah doing her best to keep her stride. Percy pulled the parchment from his chest and glanced at her test, a perfect score. His stomach dropped at the sudden explanation. He had become the pompous ass she knew him for by simply assuming she was beneath him. She had certainly proven him wrong, and now he was going to be lucky if she bothered to ever look at him again. As he packed away the books that had been strewn across the floor during their duel, promising himself he would apologize the moment he got a chance.
Which he hoped would be Transfigurations.
He slid into his seat at the front of the classroom and watched as Elle and Dinah whispered in the back of the classroom, the poor lad who had taken Elle’s seat dripping with boredom.
“Ms. Wilton, take your seat,” Professor McGonagall called as she entered the classroom. The girls laughed for a few moments, before Elle slid off the desk and practically swanned to her seat.
“Elle,” he whispered but she ignored him, not that he blamed her. She took her notes and ignored every possible thing he did to capture her attention. When class ended, she jumped up as quickly as she could manage. All he could do was run after her.
“Elle, Elle,” he called down the corridor after the pair. Suddenly, Dinah whirled around while Elle continued to look away.
“Are you looking to get your ass kicked again, because I promise I won’t be as nice as my friend,” Dinah snapped, drawing her wand. The hallway around them seemed to freeze, almost every pair of eyes seemed to stare at the badge shining brightly on his chest. Even Dinah seemed to flicker as she remembered who she was speaking to, but it only lasted a moment before she inched closer, sticking the tip of her wand against the gold.
“I’m sorry, Elle,” he announced, doing his best to ignore Dinah’s glare, “It was a stupid arrogant thing to say, and I’m sorry.” Much to his relief, she turned around, lowering Dinah’s arm as she did so.
“I’ll meet you in Herbology.”
“Elle-.”
“Do you not think I can handle a Weasley?” she snapped. Had it been any other time, Percy would have felt indignant, but he was going to take every sort of verbal abuse she had to offer if it meant she was going to forgive him. Dinah glared at him one more time before turning on her five-inch heels and marching away. “And the rest of you, get to class before the Head boy has to take house points.”
No one moved, points and orders meant almost nothing when a fight was about to break out.
“Go,” he yelled into the silent corridor. A few beats passed before begrudging feet shuffled away, leaving them alone in the corridor. “I’m sorry-.”
“I heard.” He shifted nervously, desperately thinking back to everything he knew about her. He had never groveled before, and before that moment he was sure he never would.
“I want you to study for our N.E.W.Ts with me. I only want to study with the best, and that’s clearly you.” He took a small step back as she narrowed her eyes, waiting for the jinx that was sitting on her tongue to lash out.
“Alright, library at six?” He blinked, and then again. He couldn’t believe it; he was still alive, and she had agreed. She waved her hand in front of his face, “Earth to Percy?”
“Yeah, six.”
“Don’t be late,” she ordered before offering him the smallest little grin. It disappeared as quickly as it came, and she whirled away, hurrying off to her next class. He watched the two braids down her back wave him goodbye. Frankly, they were the only thing that stopped him from watching her hips instead.
He shook the image of skirt swishing back and forth, coughing, and checking to make sure that no one had noticed his moment of weakness. When he was satisfied there was no one hiding behind corners, he briskly made his way to the common room. If he was going to keep up with her, he needed to be a little ahead.
The trip, that should have been quick and without interruption, was hijacked by none other than Fred and George. They were rushing around a corner excitedly, but when they saw him their excitement quickly dropped.
“We heard you were getting beat up,” George announced.
“But you seem free of bruises,” Fred finished, both approaching him skeptically, searching for the nonexistent contusions.
“I don’t know who told you that, but I am not getting beat up.”
“So, Dinah Baker didn’t pull her wand on you after Transfiguration?”
“And Elle Wilton didn’t send everyone away so she could absolutely pummel you into the ground?”
“She didn’t send everyone away to pummel me,” Percy snapped and both boys sagged in disappointment.
“That’s too bad. It probably would’ve been the most action you ever got.”
“Yeah, probably the first and last time a girl ever put her hands on you.”
“I’d let Wilton pummel me, she’s a right babe.”
“Very true, Fred, very true.”
“And that rack of hers.”
“I heard Davies ran into her during the rain once, claims he could see right through her shirt.”
“Black lingerie?”
“Black lingerie.”
Percy was fuming. He wanted to interrupt, to punch one of them, but he remained still, doing his best to keep his breathing even. Attacking his brother was not how a head boy should behave, and there was nothing more suspicious than defending a girl he barely talked to in public.
It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they had piqued his curiosity about the under-workings of Elle Wilton’s wardrobe.
“Last year she patched me up after Quidditch practice, and I swear she was all over me.”
“Are you sure that wasn’t all the painkillers?”
“Hey!”
“Are you two done?” Percy asked as casually as he could manage. They both turned to look at him. It seemed they had forgotten he was even there. “I have things to attend to, and if I catch either of you sneaking into the girl’s dormitory, I will not hesitate to take fifteen points from you both.” The twins rolled their eyes before pushing past him.
He took a deep breath and promised himself not to think about black lingerie.
And it worked too, until six when she arrived in the library, not wearing her uniform. It wasn’t ridiculous, but it certainly wasn’t what he was used to. He should have called her over, raised his hand, anything, but he couldn’t stop staring long enough to control his motor skills.
The flared plaid had been traded for a solid black skirt that was much tighter… and much shorter. The combat boots and fishnets were still present, but they seemed more dangerous than before. The neckline of her top was high, and the sleeves were long, but the red fabric was so tight it didn’t really leave much to the imagination. He shifted beneath the desk as he rose a hand, hoping to catch her attention without drawing too much to himself. Her eyes landed on his and she grinned, pushing towards the table he had chosen.
She sat down, pulling out her books as she went. He tried not to stare, he really did, but could anyone really blame him, when she looked like that, and when he knew that if he asked she was going to let him touch… that.
“You changed,” he blurted, and then prepared himself a Draught of Living Death right there. His big mouth had already gotten him in trouble once today, and here he was blurting out whatever came to mind. She looked up from her bag and smirked.
“It is technically the weekend; you’re not going to take points from me, are you?”
“What? No, I just noticed.”
“Thank you for noticing then.” Somehow, he had survived. “Also, I want to apologize for what happened in Lupin’s class, my temper got ahead of me.”
“It was my fault, I shouldn’t have assumed, and trust me, I won’t underestimate you again. That was excellent magic, I wasn’t kidding when I said I want to learn from the best.”
“Oh,” was all she said, and for a moment he thought she might be blushing, “I hope I live up to your expectations.”
“I’m sure you will.” She was definitely blushing now. “Shall we get into it?” he asked, doing his best to save her and she quickly nodded, burying herself into her charms essay.
They both worked for hours, only speaking to ask questions about something that had been mentioned in class, or an odd concept discussed in the book; and it was enjoyable. Percy had never once considered that one day he would enjoy sitting across a table from Elle Wilton as they studied. He wasn’t even convinced she studied before today, but now she was sitting across from him, a stain on her lip from where she held her quill as she slunk deeper into thought.
Suddenly, she slammed her book shut and stood.
“Want to come to the restricted section?”
“You need a note?”
“I have a permanent note, plus we’re in advanced Defense Against the Dark Arts, that’s automatic admittance.” She slid past Madam Pince, offering her a smug smile to which she responded with a glare. It was clear they were not one another’s biggest fans. She pushed through the gate and began perusing the shelves, clearly looking for something.
“What are you looking for?”
“Unforgivable Curses.” That did not exactly answer his question.
“Any book in particular?”
“No, anything that focuses on their creation will be perfect.”
“What for?”
“Lupin’s essay.”
“What’s your topic?”
“Why Defense Charms are useless against Unforgivable Curses. It has something to do with how they were created, but our book isn’t specific in what manner, so I’m hoping that…” she explained, trailing off as something caught her eye. She took a step back and pressed up on her toes. “Yes, that’s got to be it.” The book she was pointing at was silver, the words “Unforgivable Curses” emblazoned into the side with dark black ink.
It was a few shelves higher than she could reach, but that didn’t stop her from trying, or her skirt from rising up her thighs as she stretched for the desired book. Percy reprimanded his wandering eyes and reached for it over her head. He barely brushed the bottom of the spine but managed to pull it down without too much effort. She turned around, taking the book from his hands, staring up at him as she leaned against the shelf, smirking all the while.
He wasn’t quite sure what she was smirking about until he realized what it would look like if someone turned the corner. His arm was stretched above her, gripping the shelf as he leaned over her, a leg situated between hers. He jumped back and she had the audacity to laugh.
“Don’t act as if we’ve never been in that position before,” she teased as he sputtered with indignation.
“We’re in the library.”
“Yeah, not a church.”
“Anyone could see.”
“It’s the Restricted Section, how many people come in here on a busy day, let alone a Friday?” She was smirking at him again, always smirking when she knew she was about to win. Though, in this case he wasn’t inclined to stop her. She crooked a finger forward and he obeyed, hovering over her once more, leaning down to capture her lips in his. She responded wholeheartedly, wrapping her arms around his neck. His hand slipped to her skirt and he might have let it wander beneath it if Fred and George’s voices didn’t fill his head with the conversation from earlier.
‘Black Lingerie,’ they seemed to repeat, until suddenly he was sure their voices weren’t just in his head. He pulled away, and sure enough just outside the Restricted Section were his two very loud brothers.
“Those idiots again. I already had to fight them off once today. They were convinced I beat you up earlier,” she groaned as she pushed Percy away, fixing her skirt as she marched towards the entrance. He followed her, but she pressed a hand to his chest, stopping him in his tracks. “Just wait here, they’ll be gone before you know it.” He hid in the shadows as she pushed her way back into the main portion of the library.
“Where’s Percy?” one of them, who he could only presume was Fred, yelled over Madam Pince’s insistent hushing. “You’ve killed him, haven’t you?”
“He’s looking for a book, which often happens in a library. Not that either of you would know anything about that.” A beat of silence passed before his brothers burst into laughter.
“And you do? C’mon Wilton we know you’re only here to beat him up in private.” Percy could practically hear Elle’s eyeroll.
“If I go get him, and prove that he’s not dead will you leave?”
“Only if you kiss me too.” Percy was ready to charge out after her now, but from the way the library grew decibels quieter, he had a good feeling that she was going to take care of it. Another beat of silence passed before her voice filled the air. It was low and dangerous, and even Percy was a little worried for his younger brother.
“If you ever insinuate anything like that ever again, I will make sure the next morning you wake up in Timbuktu thinking you’re a French salesman who recently donated his prick to a local charity, do you understand me?” A beat of silence passed. “I can’t hear you.”
“Yes,” his brother whispered and then the atmosphere returned to normal.
“Excellent, now do you still want to see Percy or are you feeling ready to retire for the night?” Scampering footsteps followed her question and before he knew it, she returned to where he had been listening. He blinked at her and she smiled, dragging him further into the dark aisles of the restricted section.
“Where have you been all my life?” he stuttered, and she laughed before pushing him against a shelf and pulling him down to meet her lips.
“Wait, wait,” he gasped pushing her away.
“If you’re really the uncomfortable about the library we can go.”
“No, no that’s not it.”
“Then what is it?” Percy swallowed nervously, but he was sure if he didn’t ask, he was going to keep hearing their voices.
“Do you wear black lingerie?” Thankfully, she didn’t seem at all put out by the question, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to end up as a French salesman.
“Not today, but sometimes, why do you ask?” she laughed.
“No reason,” he replied, swooping down, and kissing her before she had time to ask any more questions. She responded with zealous, and he smirked against her lips. He was sure he had just found another surprise about the enigma he was holding in his arms, a surprise he was excited to witness all on his own.

The Great Upheaval of Percy Weasley: Dangerous
Percy Weasley x OC
Summary: Classes begin and a past warning creeps into Elle’s mind.
Warnings: Language, making out, angst
MASTERLIST
Dangerous -adj.- the words you didn’t dare to say aloud but your eyes screamed without dignity.
***
The strange thing about snogging Percy Weasley, is that Elle seemed to notice him a lot more often. She was sure they had classes together before this year, but she had never cared to notice him. Now, she was in her third class of the day, and it was the third time she could spot his red hair at the front of the classroom.
And unfortunately for her wandering mind, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher was late. The moment she wasn’t moving, or working, or doing something else to keep her busy, she was dropping further into a daydream that always managed to turn into a nightmare. That was how everything had been going since she arrived for her fourth year of Hogwarts. Now, beginning seventh year, nothing had changed. That was why Percy was so perfect. He was the perfect distraction, the final extra-curricular activity to completely fill up her schedule. He didn’t know it of course, and she wasn’t about to tell him, she just hoped he wouldn’t give up on their little agreement any time soon.
She wasn’t even sure he was going to agree to it. The night he had dragged her into an empty classroom, she hadn’t doubted his lie one bit. If she were McGonagall, she would have called her in too after getting a look at her schedule. Yet, it had been a lie, and now that little empty space she had been unable to fill with classes and studying and work was filled with Percy Weasley.
She snorted. Pretty, perfect, Percy Weasley was meeting her in dark classrooms late into the evening. Who would’ve thought the perceived worst of the worst would be fraternizing with the crown jewel of her class? Certainly not Elle Wilton, and she was one hundred percent sure neither had he.
Before she was able to drift further into the sheer shock of it all, Professor Lupin threw open his door and strode inside. She watched him with acute attentiveness from the back of the classroom, doing her best to not let her eyes stray to the boy sitting front and center.
“He’s kind of hot in an old dude sort of way, isn’t he?” Dinah muttered next to her and both burst into laughter as Elle pretended to gag. Their outburst didn’t go unnoticed and the stern, but kind eyes of their professor flitted back to their desk.
“We alright ladies?” The class turned to face them. Dinah blushed as Elle held in laughter, both shaking their heads quickly, doing absolutely nothing to convince the man. Thankfully, he was no Professor Snape, and simply nodded before returning his attention to the rest of the class. Their peers turned around as the man to speak, all except the head boy, whose attention seemed to linger on the girls a bit longer. She sent him a look, begging him to turn around before Dinah noticed, and for once in his life he listened to someone other than himself.
The class went better than most, and by the end she was feeling hopeful about the year (frankly, she was just glad it wasn’t another Lockhart). There was a quick pop quiz, just to see what they knew, and then he dismissed them without homework.
The two girls quickly packed up and began their rushed trek towards Transfigurations. While Lupin might have been late, after six years they were certain McGonagall wouldn’t be. Avoiding moving staircases and ghosts that wanted to have a conversation longer than the time they’d been dead, they burst through the doors with five minutes to spare. They made their way towards the same desk they had sat at for the past six years, when McGonagall called out to them.
“Not this year, ladies. Ms. Wilton, front and center.”
“What?” she yelled, jaw dropping, eyes wider than dinner plates.
“Now, there’s no need to yell. After the incident last year, I can’t risk it,” she tsked, but Elle wasn’t going to give up her beloved seat without a fight.
“The incident was nothing.”
“You turned your desk into a lion, which proceeded to chase Ms. Baker’s gazelle around the classroom before drenching half of my students in gore. I would hate to see what sort of incident you consider something, Ms. Wilton.”
“It was excellent transfiguration, professor.”
“Indeed, but we were making owls.”
“Professor-.”
“My decision is final, now please join Mr. Weasley.” Somehow, he had managed to slip in during their argument and was now sitting front and center, like every year before. Elle sent her a glare, but there was nothing more powerful than the stern look of Professor McGonagall. Groaning loud enough for everyone to here, Elle dragged herself forward, plopping down beside Percy.
He didn’t look at her, he didn’t need to for her to know that he was very aware of her presence. The way his entire body tensed was enough. She leaned into her hand and watched McGonagall return to her desk.
This was ridiculous, she had done things just as insane, worse even, and she had never been dragged to the front of the classroom. This was something else, and if Elle was making any guesses, she assumed it had to do with her schedule. Sadly, she dragged her fingers across the desktop, already missing the messages she and Dinah had carved into the desktop over the years.
It was stupid to be this nostalgic over a desk, but it was either sadness, or rage, and rage was far more likely to get her a month’s detention.
The lecture began, but she wasn’t really in a listening mood. She considered taking a nap, just to spite the professor, but Percy was having a coughing fit beside her.
“Are you dying?” she snapped quietly, a little harsher than she intended. However, he didn’t seem offended, merely nodded towards the parchment he was taking notes on. Scrawled in the top corner was a small note.
‘Astronomy tower, 9?’ was all it said, but the message was clear. She snatched his quill from his hand and draw a small smiley face beneath the invitation. He seemed to puff with pride as he took the quill back, returning to his notes.
And Elle couldn’t help but grin.
She was sure the grin would remain, for another hour at least, but McGonagall quickly swished it away with a few simple words.
“Ms. Wilton, I need to speak with you after your class.” As if the day couldn’t get any worse. The bell rang, and from her seat, Elle watched both Percy and Dinah leave out opposite doors. “Step into my office.”
“I don’t want to be late for my next class.”
“I’ll write you a pass.”
“I’d rather be on time.”
“Ms. Wilton, enter my office or face detention.” Elle considered detention, she really did, but she settled on standing and marching past McGonagall and into her office. She plopped into a chair and waited for the professor to take her own seat.
“Professor Sprout doesn’t like tardiness,” Elle announced. They both knew it was a lie, Professor Sprout hadn’t given a damn about tardiness since before Elle attended Hogwarts.
“I want to talk to you about your schedule.”
“It’s fine.”
“You’re taking ten N.E.W.T level classes, interning for Madame Pomfrey, and working Quidditch matches.”
“I said, it’s fine.”
“The homework load will be more than last year.”
“I’m aware of that.”
“Then you understand my concern.”
“And I’m saying your concern is misplaced.”
“Ms. Wilton, I understand-.”
“You do not seem to understand anything! I have repeatedly told you it is fine; I understand the burden and I am willing to accept it. I will not fail, just as I have not failed every year before. So, please excuse me, I-.”
“Elle!”
Elle froze as she stood, turning to look at the professor who had not once used her first name. She waited for her to continue, to say anything after her uncommon lack of professionalism, but she remained silent, fingers clenched around the quill in her hand. Elle quickly left, throwing her bag over her shoulder as she sprinted through the empty classroom, boots pounding against the floor in tune to the angry pounding in her chest.
The rest of the day occurred without incident. Herbology was as interesting as always and Charms was a breeze, even Professor Binns held her attention. By the time her classes were finished, both her anger and the dinner tables had disappeared. She cut straight to the library, working until her eyes cried for relief and her mind bled.
Before she knew it, it was 8:55 and she was heading towards the Astronomy tower. The door was held open with a thin book that she casually swooped up before shutting it behind her, locking it with a swish of her wand.
“Percy?” she called into the emptiness, but there was no response. She peered around the corner and found him leaning over a stack of books, looking no different than she had mere minutes before. “Hey, Head boy,” she called again and this time he jumped in surprise, whipping out his wand to defend himself. “Woah, easy buddy, I come mostly unarmed.”
“Bloody hell, Elle,” he stammered, stowing his wand away once more as she laughed.
“That rhymes,” she said as she sat, still laughing at the petrified look on his face. He stowed away his books, glancing at her over his shoulder as he did so.
“What do you mean mostly unarmed?”
“My womanly wiles, of course,” she teased, licking her lips as she leaned closer.
“So completely unarmed you mean?”
“Is that sarcasm from the ever-serious Percy Weasley?” He only grinned and closed the gap between them. The newly familiar taste of tea with one too many sugars brushed her tongue as he kissed her.
Suddenly, the worries of the day took a back seat as he pulled her closer. She climbed over his legs and straddled him, never pulling away.
“Woah,” he muttered, wrapping his arms around her back. Their school robes punched together as they kissed, pulling them closer together. With annoyed fingers, she yanked his robe off, tossing it to a small heap beside his books. He tried to do the same but only succeeded in groping her chest. “Sorry,” he muttered, mistaking pleasure for discomfort as she let out a high-pitched gasp, startled fingers grasping his shoulders.
“No, no, you’re good,” she muttered breathlessly, shedding the robe on her own. His hands slipped down her back, tense fingers accidentally pushing against knots in her back. Not that she minded, a massage was a massage, even if it was on accident. His hands landed on the waistband of her skirt and something from the past fluttered between her legs. She didn’t know if he was aware that he was pushing the barely clothed apex of her thighs closer to his belt buckle. She certainly wasn’t going to tell him, not when she was having so much fun.
Testing the waters, she rocked her hips forward. Unlike last time, he didn’t pull away. In fact, he pulled her closer, pressing every bit of her against his chest. He bunched her skirt between his fingers, urging her to continue. When she moaned, he didn’t startle, only joined her when it was able to slip through his pride. It seemed that Percy Weasley was as fast a learner as he claimed. Not only was he a fast learner, he was a lot more respectful than she was used to (or preferred). His hands never touched the skin beneath her skirt or wandered to her chest, they remained firmly nestled in the folds in her skirt, only occasionally straying up her back. That would have to be the next lesson.
When she pulled away for air, dark pupils blown to ridiculous proportions. He was staring at her like she had the answers to questions he didn’t know yet, and that scared her.
That really fucking scared her.
“Elle,” he whispered, still panting.
“What?” she asked, but he didn’t respond, only kissed her again. She was glad, she was sure whatever was going to come out of his mouth would have been the last thing she wanted to hear.
Dinah had always warned her about virgin boys.
“They’re too good at it,” she always said, a proclamation of the unfairness, “They look at you like you’re some sort of angel, and then they’re proclaiming they’re love before you can get their pants unbuckled.” Elle had always rolled her eyes at that, but for a moment, she knew what it was like to be looked at like an angel.
Percy was different though. He wasn’t going to fall in love with her, that very idea was laughable. Percy was reasonable, and practical, and followed through with his outlandish goals.
Plus, he was only an average kisser.
And Elle was only an average liar, even to herself, because what he was doing was anything but average.
That night ended like the one before it; with a final kiss that left both wanting more (but nothing more than another) and Elle leaving him alone in the room of his choosing.
Dinah had no idea what she was talking about, virgin boys were as harmless as they came.

The Great Upheaval of Percy Weasley: Lines
Percy Weasley x OC
Summary: A decision is made and the consequences are yet to be discovered.
Warnings: talk of smut, language, fluff(?)
MASTERLIST
Lines -n- what we drew the in the sand in a desperate attempt to protect the treasures we hid between our ribs and the reputations we had cultivated within the grainy fragments that threatened to crumble
***
When Elle had first placed her idea on the table, he was downright appalled. He had never dated anyone normally, let alone snuck around with someone to make out whenever they felt like it. She had rolled her eyes at his reaction, making him promise to ‘think about it’ before she returned to the Gryffindor common room.
He had silently prayed it wasn’t back to that oaf that had had his hands up her skirt, and then he blushed. He’d practically had his hands up her skirt. Not that it mattered, it wouldn’t happen again.
At least that’s what he had thought three days ago. Now, against his better judgement, he was approaching her little group of friends as they worked beside the fireplace. He twisted his hands nervously behind his back before clearing his throat. In unison they all looked up, three pairs of eyes staring into him like he was something to be devoured.
“Elle, McGonagall asked if she could see you,” he managed, and her friends glared at him suspiciously. Elle, on the other hand, shrugged and shoved her stuff into her bag.
“Mind if I put this in my room?” He shook his head quickly and she strode away towards her room. He kept his eyes pinned to the couch where she had sat, if only to keep his eyes from following her as she disappeared, he didn’t need her friends anymore suspicious than they already were.
“So, do you take house points from everyone you kiss?” Dinah, or at least he thought it was Dinah, asked him with a smirk.
“No, only those who do it without my permission.”
“Oh, your permission, I see. Well, Percy Weasley, do I have permission to kiss you?” she asked, laughing as his eyes widened. He wasn’t sure to say, if he should defend himself or laugh or run in the opposite direction. Thankfully, Elle returned, saving him from further embarrassment.
“Leave the man alone, Dinah,” she called before heading towards the portrait. He awkwardly tipped his head towards the two girls sprawled out across the furniture, ignoring their laughter as he hurried off after Elle.
She smiled at him as they walked, making him more nervous than he already was.
“So, what’s ole McGonagall want me for?” she asked, but he hadn’t thought that far ahead, so instead he pulled her into an empty classroom, locking the door behind him. “I see,” she laughed, and he remained silent a bit longer. He couldn’t believe what he was agreeing to, and with whom he was agreeing. She raised an eyebrow and hopped up onto the large desk that sat at the front of the classroom. She swung her legs back and forth like a child, but her eyes contradicted all possibility of innocence as they burned into him. He had dragged her here, and yet he felt like the one who was being hunted.
“I don’t know what I’m doing,” he admitted. Instead of laughing as he had predicted she offered him a hand.
“And you think I do?”
“I mean, you’ve probably…”
“Are you calling me whore, Percy Weasley?”
“What? No! I would-.”
“I’m kidding, c’mere,” she laughed, and he stepped forward reaching out to take her hand. This was crazy, every second of it was against everything he thought he stood for, but he wouldn’t be here if he had been able to get her off his mind. Instead, the feeling of kissing her had haunted him day and night since the moment she surprised him in the common room.
When their fingers brushed, he was instantly filled with warmth. She pulled him closer, spreading her legs just enough to allow him to get closer. Her eyes softened as he got closer, smile becoming more reassuring than mischievous.
“After the other night, I figured you were a natural,” she whispered.
“That was different.”
“Oh?”
“I didn’t know I was going to do it.” That got him a laugh and a nod of understanding. She remained silent for a moment, studying him. He wasn’t sure what she was looking for, and if he was going to pass the test, but he took a moment to do the same.
He already knew she had passed. She was beautiful. Even with the makeup and the nose ring he had turned his nose up at for years she was beautiful. And with the way she was holding him, he wasn’t sure if he would ever leave. Her thighs were warm against his hips, and somehow, she had placed his hand against her waist without him even noticing. The hand that had held his moments ago was lightly gripping his bicep, fingers drawing light patterns in the fabric of his shirt. He leaned closer until he was hovering over her, his other hand slipping behind her back for support. And then he was kissing her again, soft, and languid, without a hurry in the world.
“Fuck,” she muttered, and he pulled away nervously. Had he done something wrong? “That was a good noise, now get back here,” she said with a laugh, and he happily obliged. She tasted the way a garden smelled. The remnants of lavender tea mixed with honey-laced Chapstick and her uncharacteristic desire to eat the flower garnishes on cakes. He only hoped he didn’t taste like that evening’s dinner. She moaned into his lips again, biting gently on his bottom lip and he decided either she loved chicken pot pie or he was safe.
She suddenly pulled away, leaving him disappointed, until she leaned in again, this time attaching her lips to his neck. He hadn’t thought there was anything better than kissing her until she started to kiss his throat, sucking at his pulse.
“Bloody hell,” he moaned, and she laughed, swiping her tongue across the trauma. His head dipped forward as she worked her way up his throat and to his jaw before landing on his lips again.
He could have stayed like that forever, tasting her lips as he held her, but the moment her hips started to rock forward he panicked. He hadn’t meant to, he really wanted to keep going, but nerves got the best of him and he pulled away.
“Are you okay?” she asked, and he nodded as he breathed deeply. Surprisingly, she didn’t act at all like he had figured a girl who, to an extent, had been rejected would behave. She looked genuinely concerned.
“Yes, I’m fine,” he promised, “It was just… a lot.” She nodded and scooted over on the desk, offering him a place to sit beside her.
He took it.
They sat in comfortable silence, swinging their legs back and forth.
“Are you a virgin?” he asked, blushing the instant it left his mouth. She laughed and leaned back on her hands.
“No, but sometimes I wish I was.” He glanced at her; eyebrow raised at her response. “I mean I’ve never loved someone that I’ve slept with, it was just boredom, and none of them have been good. It’s always pump and go. If it makes you feel any better, making out with you has been better than all of them combined, and I don’t love you either,” she laughed. He nodded, weirdly enough it did make him feel better. “Are you a virgin?”
“Are you making fun of me?”
“Maybe a little.” He scowled, but the annoyance didn’t last long. After years of listening to liars, it was hard to be mad at honesty. And while the list of cons about snogging Elle Wilton was long, liar was not one of them.
“Are you going to tell anyone?”
“Do you want me to?”
“No!”
“That’s fortunate,” she said laughing at his urgency, “I wasn’t exactly keen on you telling people I was snogging the head boy.”
“Oh?”
“It’d absolutely ruin my reputation.” He laughed at that. He knew all about reputations, and while theirs were quite different, he understood the importance of keeping them intact. “I could give you a hickey to get your brothers off your back,” she offered, but he quickly turned it down.
“Then they’d just bug me about who gave it to me.”
“That’s too bad, I was looking forward to it, giving you a hickey, I mean,” she teased with a smirk, and he made the most feminine squeak he had ever heard, which only made her laugh harder. “Maybe another day.” A day ago, he would have been disgusted at the mere thought, but after today his interest had been piqued in more ways than one.
“Maybe.”
“Never thought I’d hear Percy Weasley consider a hickey.”
“You never thought you would be snogging Percy Weasley either,” he teased, surprising both of them. He blushed and she leaned into him, bumping their arms together.
“Very, very true,” she laughed softly, and then she grew serious, turning to face him, legs crossed in front of her. “We need to set some boundaries.”
“Boundaries?” He had never expected her to be the type to set rules, and he wasn’t exactly sure what she was talking about. What did boundaries have to do with what they were doing?
“Like where we’re not allowed to take things. Earlier I did something, and you got uncomfortable, so where can we not take things? What’s the line we can’t cross?”
Percy had no idea what she was talking about. He had never considered what they were doing something worth his time. He had heard about it, two people doing nothing but snogging in broom cupboards, but he had considered it worthless. Now that he was here, he was lost.
“No sex?” he offered, and she nodded, ushering for him to go on, “I don’t know what else there is.” She smirked and leaned in, pressing her lips to his throat.
“Is this okay?” she muttered, and he nodded quickly. Still kissing his neck, she undid his tie, fingers unbuttoning his shirt with ease. “And this?” It was still very okay, much better than okay. His breath quickened as she kissed down the center of his chest, her hands gripping his thighs as she leaned closer and closer to his belt buckle. “And when the time comes for it, are you okay with this?” He nodded, the subject of their conversation twitching at future possibilities. “Then, it sounds like sex is it. And I’ll speak for both of us on this one, no visible hickeys.” He nodded in agreement. “Any emotional boundaries?”
“Emotional?”
“Well, call me territorial, but I don’t want you to snog other girls in front of me; if I’m there keep it in your pants. And I want us to be friends, no more of this darting around each other. I’m not saying the whole world must know, but if I sit by you in class I’m going to be pissed if you get up to leave. If you lie to me, about anything, don’t bother talking to anymore. And we have to end it if one of us falls in love.”
“I don’t think we’re going to fall in love.”
“Rather confident for a boy who’s never been stuck in a broom closet with me. However, for both our sake, I hope you’re right. It would be painful for both of us.” Percy wanted to push for information, to find out why she sounded so sad as she spoke, but he kept quiet.
“It can’t get in the way of school, or my duties as Head boy. And I won’t treat you any differently,” he proclaimed, and she laughed.
“I would expect nothing less, Head boy.” He hated when everyone else called him that, but when she said it, he couldn’t help but find it endearing, like that was the last thing from her mind. A few moments of silence ticked by before she hopped off the desk, brushing the wrinkles from her clothing. “I should get back before they start wondering why I was at McGonagall’s for so long. By the way, you’ve got to come up with better excuses, they’re not going to believe you if our professors keep needing me, especially when I haven’t done anything.”
“I just figured-.”
“Don’t,” she interrupted, and then leaned in and kissed him, pulling away in an instant before she strolled out of the classroom, skirt swishing around her thighs like an invitation he wasn’t allowed to accept.
What on earth was he thinking?

The Great Upheaval of Percy Weasley: Strangers
Percy Weasley x OC
Summary: A dare leaves two unlikely individuals pining over one another.
Warnings: language, light angst
MASTERLIST
Strangers -n- the moment I called your name and you looked surprised I knew it.
***
Elle leaned in with a laugh, picking her nail as the three girls scrutinized the head boy. It was only the first night back, and he was already hovering over the Gryffindor common room like a hawk, waiting to swoop in to steal points from unsuspecting troublemakers.
“Of course, it’s Percy fucking Weasley,” Dinah whispered, tossing blonde hair behind her shoulder as she glared at the head boy, “There goes homework trades.”
“And sneaking into Gryffindor tower,” Quinn growled yanking at her blue tie.
“And making out in the common room,” Dinah added.
“Thank god,” Quinn teased, and Dinah elbowed her in the side.
“For you too, you know.”
“Honestly, Dinah, when’s the last time you saw me making out in the Common Room?”
“Never, but I’m sure you have.”
“Nah, most of the chicks she gets with are still in the closet,” Elle interrupted, still staring at the head boy across the room. His gaze landed on her and she smirked before quickly turning around. Her friends were still bickering about how many places they had been caught, allowing her mind to wander back to the head boy.
They were in the same year, but she was sure they had never said anything to one another, at least not that she could recall. He had never reprimanded her (why, she would never know) and she never got beneath his freshly polished shoes. Somehow, they had existed in the same place for seven years, yet never truly met.
He probably thought he was too good for her.
And she knew she was too good for him.
“Don’t you think, Elle?” Quinn asked, yanking her unceremoniously from her thoughts. She blinked cluelessly.
“What?”
“I said, I think he’s just sexually frustrated.”
“Definitely no other explanation,” she agreed, eyes turning back to the snobby ginger. He really did look like he had something stuck up his prick.
“Maybe if someone sucked his dick he’d ease up,” Dinah suggested.
“Forget blowjobs, he just needs someone to kiss him properly,” Quinn said, and then a grin spread across her face, eyes turning towards Elle, who was still studying the subject of their conversation. “Maybe we should help him.” Dinah caught on quickly when she met Quinn’s eye, a smirk of her own crossing her lips.
“Yes, I agree.”
“You agree with what?” Elle asked, instantly growing suspicious when she was met with two pairs of innocent eyes. “You agree with what?”
“I think you should do the poor boy a service.”
“What?”
“Give him a demonstration on how to lock lips.”
“Play tonsil tennis.”
“Tongue wrestle.”
“What the fuck?” Elle interrupted, appalled at their series of suggestions. “Are you two high?” Quinn only rolled her eyes.
“Oh please, it’d be hilarious. I bet he’s never even been kissed before; you’d be doing him a favor.”
“Why me?” Elle whispered, eyes flicking between the unsuspecting head boy and her mischievous friends.
“Because despite how much of a prat Percy is, he’s not a girl, and Dinah has a boyfriend.”
“And when has that stopped her?”
“I actually like this one. Come on Elle.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
“No!”
“Hey, Elle…”
“What?”
In nothing but a whisper came the magic words, “I dare you” Elle groaned, and the instincts that had gotten her into Gryffindor in the first place started tingling. She had done far dumber things under the pretense of, ‘I dare you’ and she wasn’t about to chicken out now, especially if it was nothing more than kissing Percy Weasley.
With a huff, she stood, tossing her robe to the couch; she didn’t need something impeding her work (or her escape). As she stood, glaring across the common room the trek seemed incredibly short, and she felt incredibly bare.
Maybe she should have kept the robe on after all.
It was too late now; she was already stepping around velvet sofas and heading towards the entrance. She prayed he wouldn’t notice her until she had him within arm’s reach. She had no idea why she was so nervous. She had kissed plenty of people, certainly more than Percy ever had, and yet…
He was chastising a second year when she arrived, and the poor kid begged for help, blues eyes widening as he begged for escape. In a way she was about to offer him just that, help. Would that there was someone to help her, she thought and then scowled internally, now she was turning all poetic and shit.
Confidently (this was no time for nervousness), she tapped him on the shoulder. As he turned, she rose onto her tippy toes, grabbing a fistful of his robes before yanking his lips down to meet hers.
At first he didn’t respond, just stood there, lips pressed to hers and the he did in full force. He invited her to deepen the kiss. His lips were soft, and warm and welcoming, a strange feeling coming from the ever-cold Percy. His glasses knocked against her nose when the tips of her fingers struck against the frame while they slid up his face. His hands found her waist and it seemed like her would pull her closer.
And then it was over as quickly as it had begun.
She almost couldn’t tell if he had pulled her closer or pushed her away, but she was going to guess the latter. His face was bright red, stuttering with shock. She smirked and folded her arms across her chest, the only defense she could come up with. She could hear Dinah and Quinn giggling in the background, or was that the entire common room? She would never know for sure.
Still in shock, blushing as he struggled to straighten his robes, Percy opened his mouth, nothing but silence, until…
“Five points from Gryffindor.” She blinked in shock, her jaw dropping. He had just deducted house points from her, for kissing him. He was definitely sexually repressed (and no wonder with an attitude like that).
“You, you should be lucky to be kissing anyone, let alone me, you fucking square,” she snapped as he walked away, but he didn’t bother turning around. Fuming, she stomped back to her friends, who were sprawled out across the sofa in stitches. “That motherfucker took five house points,” she growled but they only laughed harder. She sunk into her chair, not bothering to pull her robe back on, and glared at the wall.
Never in her seventeen years of life had she wanted to punch something as badly as she did now. She wasn’t sure what it was she wanted to punch, whether it was Percy, Quinn, or some unsuspecting wall, all she knew is that she wanted it to hurt. She sat there, furious for longer than healthy, ignoring Quinn and Dinah when they had informed her they were going up to bed.
“Don’t stay mad for too long,” Dinah had warned her before flouncing up the stairs, but she was still here, an hour later, full of rage.
And it wasn’t just that he had taken house points. She could have gotten over that in five minutes max, it was the fact she had liked it. She had fucking liked kissing Percy Weasley. And unless her instincts were lying, he had liked it too.
She had learned a lot about Percy in those few moments. Things that she wasn’t sure she wanted to know. It wasn’t just his ego that made him tower over others, he was actually tall. And he wasn’t scrawny. Beneath the school robes were the muscles of someone who had to work for everything. They weren’t significant, but they were there, a surprise to anyone who got near enough to touch him. He had never been ugly of course. In fact, as long as she had known him, deep in the back of her mind, he had always been handsome. And most frustrating of all, he had grabbed her waist and pulled her closer. He had fucking liked it, and now she was suffering because she could still imagine him pulling her closer, deepening the kiss that had started out as nothing more than a joke.
Oh god, she prayed he didn’t know it was a joke. Who was she kidding, of course he knew it was a joke? How else could anyone imagine her locking lips with perfect Percy any other way. It really was too bad he was such a square; she wouldn’t mind kissing him again… without an audience. She growled to herself at the thought. She had never considered kissing him before, and now that she had, she couldn’t stop thinking about it.
She was supposed to hate him, to be disgusted with everything he stood for, and before tonight (hell, before ninety minutes ago) he had. Now she was acting like a blushing virgin, fawning over some stupid kiss that had been a dare, and it was all his fault, or maybe it was Quinn’s. Frankly, it didn’t matter, all that mattered is that she needed to get it out of her mind.
She sighed, suddenly exhausted from the excitement of the evening, and sullenly sulked up to the bathroom to get ready for bed. She cupped her hands full of water when she noticed herself in the mirror. She was surprised he hadn’t done more than take away five house points.
Heavy eyeliner circled her eyes, only made more noticeable by long black lashes. Her nose ring was slightly skewed from the kiss, and the piercings in her ears were a more noticeable than normal. The skirt she had rolled up one too many times was bunched to one side, and the top three buttons of her shirt were unbuttoned, that wasn’t from the kiss, she just never fucking buttoned them. From the beginning of the two Dutch braids she always wore, down her fish nets, to the combat boots she wore as often as she could, she was the exact opposite of Percy Weasley.
It seemed downright impossible that he had wanted to kiss her, not when she looked like this. She didn’t think she was ugly; she wasn’t sure she could ever think she was ugly, but she was certainly different. The question was, was she too different to be kissed by Percy Weasley. Maybe she had just imagined him pulling her closer and kissing her back, maybe she had just wished he had.
Across the Gryffindor tower, Percy was suffering from the same thing His knuckles were white as he gripped the edge of the porcelain sink.
Elle Wilton had kissed him. She had really kissed him. It wasn’t some fever dream, or a hallucination, she had kissed him, period. It wasn’t the first time he had been kissed, of course, but it was the first time he had been kissed like that.
She was a wonderful kisser. It was an odd talent to have, but she had it. She seemed to know everything about the matter, while he could only flounder around her expertise. He had enjoyed every moment of it, and the fact that he had taken away points had come from shock and embarrassment, not because he hadn’t wanted to pull her back into his arms and kiss her again. She probably thought he hated it, she had sounded like it when she had yelled at him as he walked away.
To make matters worse it had been a joke, he could see her friends laughing he pulled away, and he had gone and made a fool of himself by pulling her closer. They were probably up in their dorm laughing about it right now, making jokes about the extremely dense Percy Weasley.
It seemed for once his brothers were right, he was an idiot.
An unhinged version of himself was staring back at him in the mirror. His reflection’s lips were swollen, and his cheeks were still flushed from the encounter. He ran a finger over his lips, surprised to find that they felt just as swollen as his reflection’s.
She was the type of person he always kept as an arm’s length. One’s reputation could be irreparably damaged by those who kept them company, and Percy certainly wasn’t going to let some nobody who looked at rules like suggestions ruin his chances of getting ahead. He had never even bothered to dock house points; worried what people would think if they even saw him talking to her. Gossip ran rampant at Hogwarts, and while from what he had seen she avoided it, her friends certainly did not. He didn’t need people whispering that he was messing around with someone like Elle Wilton.
It’s not like it mattered, that’s what everyone was going to think now that she had kissed him for all of Gryffindor to see. He slammed his hands against the sink and slunk back into his dorm, throwing himself onto his bed with as much dramatics as his pride would allow.
“You good, Weasley?” Oliver Wood called from behind the curtains of his four poster, but Percy ignored him. He wasn’t in the mood to talk about Elle Wilton and her excellent kissing.
He wasn’t in the mood to talk about it, but it seemed that he had no choice but to the think about it. She was his last thought before he fell asleep, and she invaded his dreams, just as she had invaded his mind.
It was safe to say that neither of them got much sleep that night, tossing and turning as thoughts of one another burrowed deep into their individual minds. When morning came, both were as unhappy as when they had gone to bed.
And both were armed with different plans of recovery.
Percy was certain ignoring her would be enough, he had done it for six years, year seven would be no different. He would go to class, and perform his job, and Elle Wilton and her excellent kissing skills would slowly fade from mind.
Elle was not quite as patient and was already searching for a distraction amongst the rows of students in her Charms class. No one seemed to stand out, but that was probably for the best. She didn’t need a new fixation, she needed to get rid of the current one. Finally, she settled on a Gryffindor boy, Daniel something or another. He was rather broad, blond hair, not working brain cell in the whole bunch. Good enough looking that she could focus on him instead of the head boy sitting a few rows ahead. Boring, but exactly the opposite of the boy she was trying to forget.
For the rest of the day, she kept an eye on Daniel before cornering him after dinner with a smile. A few years ago, she would have worried he would have said no, but now that she knew ‘punk rocker chick’ was on almost every guy’s bucket list, approaching boys was as easy as tying her shoes. Quinn had complained about it once, the guys saw her and Dinah as objects to fuck, and while it had hurt at first, it was mostly useful now.
Especially, now that Daniel was staring down her shirt while she was asking him to make out later. Stupidly, he nodded, and she smiled before waltzing away, pleased that soon Percy Weasley would no longer remain in her headspace.
She placed herself in the common room, and pulled out her homework, patiently waiting for everyone but her distraction to clear out. Daniel was not nearly as patient, shifting in his seat every few seconds, trying not to look interested while simultaneously looking like he had never touched a boob before.
Finally, it was empty.
She packed away her homework and stood, walking towards her distraction. He watched her with wide eyes as she straddled him, frozen in place beneath her. She settled herself on his lap, wanting nothing more than to laugh at the fact he was already hard. To spare his pride she just placed his hands on her waist and her lips against his. He responded enthusiastically, shoving his tongue into her mouth. She ground against him, running her fingers through his hair, doing her best not to compare the experience to the night before.
With a spare hand, she pushed his hands down to her ass, his hands reminding her too much of Percy as they sat against her waist. His hands slipped beneath her skirt, rough skin catching on the individual threads of her fishnets.
She had been right about him being boring. His only goal seemed to be to eat her tongue as fast as possible, while simultaneously trying to shove his dick through his pants and up her skirt. Had there not been a bigger picture, she would have left him alone with blue balls fifteen minutes ago. However, she was still thinking about Percy, and that simply would not do. She was thinking about him so much, for a moment she thought she heard his voice.
And then she definitely heard it.
“Ten points from Gryffindor for explicit misconduct,” he said, and she whirled around, the rage from the following night bubbling up inside of her once more but he was already walking away.
It was too much like the night before, but she wasn’t going to let him walk away, not this time. She climbed off Daniel and fixed her skirt.
“Want to go up to my room?”
“Shut up and go wank off,” Elle snapped as she marched after the head boy. The portrait hadn’t even closed all the way by the time she reached it. She slipped out with ease and followed the redhead down the hall. “Hey, you,” she called but he only flinched. She ran after him and grabbed his arm, yanking him to a stop. “I’m talking to you, and as head boy you have to listen.” He glared at her, shaking away her hold and folded his arms.
“I’m listening.”
“I want to know what the fuck your problem is. I’m not allowed to kiss you, and I’m not allowed to kiss anyone else, so who am I allowed to kiss.”
“I never said-.”
“I think you did, and while we’re on the matter, I’m an excellent fucking kisser thank you, so if you’re trying to tell yourself I’m not, you’re lying to yourself. I mean, fuck me, have you ever even kissed someone before. Even if you don’t like it you don’t punish them, you say, ‘no thank you’ or ‘sorry, not interested’, not ‘five points from fucking Gryffindor’, you pompous twit,” she had worked herself into a yell now, and she wasn’t slowing down anytime soon. “I mean, I almost felt bad for letting them get to me, I had the audacity to worry about you, not anymore. I certainly won’t make that mistake again. I thought I had been wrong about you, I thought everyone was wrong about you, but it seems you’re just as arrogant as I thought you were.”
“Elle-.”
“No, my god don’t say a word. And to think I wanted to kiss you again,” she continued to yell, admitting far more than she had intended. She opened her mouth the continue, but suddenly something far more important interrupted her.
Percy ‘Never Breaks the Rules’ Weasley had just shoved her against the wall, his lips pressed to hers. He had her face in his hands, fingers frustrated as she they pulled her closer. It was better than she remembered. In the initial attack his leg had situated itself between her legs, propping her up against the wall. She found the curls her fingers had merely brushed the night before and raked her nails through them in complete euphoria. The kiss lasted longer than either of them could hold their breath, and when they finally broke apart, they were both gasping for air, staring with big eyes.
“I’m sorry,” he muttered taking too many steps back. He looked like a cornered animal, a hilarious expression for someone who had just shoved an angry girl against a wall to snog her.
“What are you sorry for?” she asked, and he shrugged. Silence filled the air, and he awkwardly smoothed out his robes, adjusting his badge before turning to walk away, but she wasn’t going to let him. No one had ever kissed her like they enjoyed the mere experience of kissing, and she wasn’t going to let the boy who did escape with only a shrug. “Wait.” He stopped and turned around, eyes nervously watching the ground. “I have an idea.”

“He has a crush on you.” Fred whispered.
“No, he doesn’t.”
“Yes he does!” Fred giggled, the little shit actually giggled. “He looks at you the same way I do!”
You shook your head as you two roamed through the halls. “Aren’t you supposed to be jealous right now?” You cocked your head.
“Nah, not of Longbottom.” He asked. “It’s a little school boy crush, I had one on you at that age!”
“Fred.” You sighed. “Just don’t embarrass the kid okay?”
“So you do know!”
“Yes!” You hissed. “I just…don’t want Neville embarrassed. He’s only fourteen, and he’s not being gross about it, in fact, he’s more respectful than you were at that age.” You poked your boyfriend. “Promise me, you won’t embarrass him.” “Oh darling, I won’t.” He drawled.
“I’ll kill you fucker.” You threatened as you walked into Defense Against the Dark Arts.
“I love you!” He blew you a kiss as he began to walk to his class.
You sighed as you sat down. Neville did have a school boy crush on you. You thought it was adorable, it was also odd that such a pure boy had a crush on the Scary Resident Slytherin as the Gryffindors called you.
Neville was a respectful boy, he didn’t openly flirt with you, but he did get you flowers from time to time because the flowers made him think of you. Or at a candy shop he’d pick up your favorite candy. But he didn’t make lewd remarks or stare at you disrespectfully. He was just…an admirer.
Later that day, you were in the Gryffindor common room waiting for Fred and George to get done pulling a prank on Snape. You were allowed the password because you were family there. They didn’t think you would let anyone else in, and you wouldn’t.
The trio and Neville walked in laughing.
“Hello, Y/N.”
“Hello, what have you four been up to?” You asked, throwing an arm against the couch.
“We went to Hogsmeade!” Ron said excitedly, he sat on the chair diagonal from you and began showing you his goodies. Harry moved to sit on the arm of Ron’s chair and Hermione sat on the arm on the couch.
Neville spoke up behind you, “um Y/N?”
“What’s up dude?” You said, looking at him.
He handed you a chocolate frog, “picked this up for you.” He blushed, handing you the box.
“Thank you!” You said smiling.
He shyly smiled back and retreated up into his dorms.
“That kid is smitten with you.” Ron said, his mouth full of licorice wands.
“Please tell me nobody is rough on him for it.” You sighed.
“Nah, we just tease him.” Hermione said. Right then Fred and George walked in cackling.
You snapped your fingers, “boys!” They both looked at you, afraid. “Sit.”
Harry, Ron and Hermione went to get up, “sit your asses down.”
They all immediately sat down.
“Can you guys please not be mean to Neville about this crushthing?” You asked.
“Oh we aren’t mean about it.”
“I know but…” you sighed. “I know what it’s like to be in the kids shoes. Just…go easy.”
“We will.” Harry said.
“Yeah, no offense Harry but I’m talking to the Trouble Twins here.”
He smiled and then George spoke up, “we won’t.”
You looked at Fred, “you’re next.” “I promise.” He kissed your cheek.
After that, the conversation went back to normal. Pretty soon everyone retired to bed, Fred and you were the only ones left.
“What did you mean when you said you knew what it would be like in Neville’s shoes?” Fred wondered.
You sighed, “because I know how obvious I was about my crush on you at that age. And I was embarrassed whenever George or Ron would tease me about it. They did it out of love but,” you shrugged. “I hated it.”
He nodded, “I love you.” He leaned in and puckered his lips.
“I love you.” You kissed him.
