i could not repair all the damage

WITH EVERYTHING GOING ON not only in the rpc but also my personal life, i will be cleaning up this blog through a MOVE. i’m going to debate keeping this url or going under a new one and following the “ REBRAND ” i did with my other oc. i don’t like how sloppy and uncomfortable this blog and dash makes me so i need to kind of... reorganize samuel & felix for a lack of a better term.

      THIS HAS BEEN A LONG TIME COMING. as much as i love samuel and felix, i can’t find myself to draw up any muse for things that aren’t plotted and unfortunately . . . i don’t really have any plotted threads ( with a handful of exceptions ). while i will still be responding here and there, i will more likely be on my other oc for the time being. i am additionally in a state of panic because i have to come up with another $637 to make sure i have a place to live for the next month and to be able to attend college again in the fall. for now, that is my MAIN PRIORITY since i just lost my most recent job and it’s a bit laate in the summer to have another.

   vincent had hoped ! samuel would really understand.     the desperation flees dark hues & is swiftly replaced    with a a solemn yet grateful stare. the corner of his     mouth twitches, making his lips into a half - smile.    fingers release the grasp on his shirt, despite leaving    a bloody reminder that he’d been there. ❝ he said his    name. MY FATHER’S NAME ! to me, to my face. ❞    his octave is unstable, just like his head. & even though    his words bring him the sorrow that had caused this    death, the smile stays. ❝ he had some sort of part in    what happened. I KNOW HE DID. ❞ vinnie kicks at the    body, but is too light headed to connect his foot with     anything. ❝ sammy, you’re gonna HELP, right ? bury    this MOTHER FUCKER – for what he’s done. ❞

      there’s a glitch of color in his eye. blue. green. black.      & then it’s gone. there’s a threat of felix reaching the      surface, but for now — for now it remains dormant.      samuel doesn’t focus on the bloody print on his shirt.      instead, he focuses on the body. he can hear the lilt      in vincent’s voice, but he refuses to call him out at a      time like this.“ I BELIEVE YA, VINNIE. ” he makes a      point of thickening his accent to try & keep the other      GROUNDED in the moment. he can help him, but he’s      not going to be able to do it alone.

     he puts a hand on vincent’s shoulder to keep him up.      the last thing he needs is one dead body and another      UNCONSCIOUS one. his brow knits together from a      variety of emotions. worry. CURIOSITY. anger. FEAR.      he doesn’t address any of them right now. he needs      to get the body in the ground & vincent home before      another death happens because of an UNWANTED      VISITOR. “ ‘course, vinnie. ‘mgunna make sure no      one will ever find ‘im. i’ve got ya. don’t worry. ”

   ❝ no, you’re not LISTENING ! ❞ despite his hands being    bloodied, he’s going to reach for a purchase on the front    of your shirt anyway. there’s a desperation in his eyes    beyond words, ❝ i had to do it ! he had connections to my    family ! ❞ for once, this was true. & vincent took the margo    family name rather seriously. hence the dead body, ❝ do    you UNDERSTAND ? i had to ! ❞

      the DESPERATION in his eyes is beyond TERRIFYING       to samuel. he’s almost at a loss for words, but then an      image pops into his mind. the first time he’s looking at      a broken neck, blood covered hands & a pair of lifeless      eyes. ice fills his heart and something in his mind shifts.      he’s not scared. he’s not panicked. he is just calm and      concerned. he gingerly places one hand over vinnie’s      and the other on his cheek. he needs to snap him out      of whatever state he’s in.

              “ i understand. ” accent thickens. “ i UNDERSTAND, vincent. ”

      he does his best to try and refocus his attention.       move it away from the dead body & to focus on       SAMUEL instead. he’s been here so many times       because of felix. he’s used to this.

   he’s been hiding here for what seems like hours. there     were bandits, the murderous kind, who kept coming in    & out of the store. unsure of when it was safe to come     out, he’s been hidden for a while. the door creaks open    yet again, but this time, not a bandit. someone in normal    clothes, probably with no murderous tenancies … ( apart    from the undead, probably. ) don’t be the hero, blaine …    but he tries to be. he stands up quickly, grabbing the person    from behind with a hand over their mouth, ducking himself    with them in tow back into his hiding spot. just in time, too.    another gaggle of bandits wander in. ❝ i’m not gonna hurt    you. ❞ he whispers.

FEAR STRIKES HIS HEART like a bullet from a gun. it happens faster than he can register & once it does, it still takes him a minute to settle. then again, can one REALLY SETTLE in a world overrun by zombies ? ?

there is a small pain in his temple as he steadies himself & he knows it’s felix bristling to be let out. after all, FELIX is the only reason he’s made it this far. though he is still skeptical of the stranger, he isn’t an immediate threat. instead, his ears focus on the bandits who wander in & he does his best to keep his voice barely audible & his heart from beating out his chest. “ thanks, but- ”
