In my journey to garlic-maxxing I fucked up my soup by burning garlic, thinking it wouldn’t be that bad, and then immediately finding out it IS that bad

It can't be THAT bad, I mean it's still garlic that's all that really matters

Garlic lovers I’m sorry but it WAS that bad, nothing of the richness properly cooked garlic has. Just the specks of it that landed on my tongue had this acrid, bitter, and dry feel to it that ruined the mushroom dumplings I was eating it with. I was so hurt by my mistake, 25 years of perfectly golden garlic to add to my dishes all down the drain. All it took was one mistake and now I know the scorn and the ire of burnt garlic. Never again.
