- with will i feel like it would be lost friends turned lovers or meeting him in san jose

- the first one is calling to me

- you and will met in kindergarten

- you were both so anxious and the teacher thought why not pair you two together? (like that’s a good idea)

- you didn’t talk until the second day, and then you couldn’t stop talking

- you were paired together in everything because you always wanted to be and wouldn’t talk to anyone else in your class

- your mom’s got each others numbers and eventually play dates were set

- while you weren’t obsessed with hockey like will was, you’d still listen to him rant and watch games together on the tv

- continued when you got older and he got into u7 and older

- you’d go to his games and sit with him while he practiced on the pond near his house

- he tried to teach you but you didn’t have good coordination (yet) so you just sat and sometimes clung onto his stick as he pulled you around

- days were spent on and around the ice, talking and watch will skate while nights consisted of shared dinners, chattering teeth, and hot chocolate

- you had sleepovers but you slept separately with will getting the couch and you getting his bed (he insisted)

- most of your childhood memories included him

- but when you were 13, your parents moved to another state

- you had never felt sadness like that

- you spent the last days of your summer together all the time, and your parents let you get away with a lot

- the last thing he ever gave you was a u15 jersey of his

- you still have it 💗

- you were too young to have social media then in your parents opinion so you never followed each other and eventually lost contact

- though you always remembered will smith

- i mean, how could you not?

- in senior year you applied to san jose university because they had the program you wanted

- a couple days after your mom (she is still facebook friends with colleen)mentioned that will had been drafted by the san jose sharks (coincidence huh)

- you were really proud

- this was the scrawny little kid you had watched spend hours on the ice and dream of going into the nhl

- you were excited (and hoping) to see him but acting like you weren’t because some part of you thought that that would make the chances bigger of meeting him

- you moved to san jose in august, your family staying a week to help move you into the apartment and see the city

- and you didn’t see will until november 🙁

- you wished to even go to a game sooner but your program had you so busy you could barely spend time with friends

- but in november you finally had a day off and your friends dragged you to a san jose game (said it was a rite of passage)

- you didn’t expect will to see you, and he didn’t, but you finally saw him again at the bar you went to later

- the team had won and went out to get drinks to celebrate

- you also went to celebrate but also get drunk

- you didn’t notice the team had come in because you were tipsy and at the bar focused on getting the drink for your table

- you were scrolling on your phone when you heard a voice you swore was familiar

- you turn, and low and behold the blonde is beside you

- you were shocked and focused on what changed about him that you didn’t realize he had turned and saw you

- he called your name and you smiled, “long time no see, huh hot shot”

- he blushed and chuckled quietly

- you two turned to conversation and you delivered the drinks to your table before finding him again

- spent the rest of the night catching up and drunkly reminiscing on childhood memories

- like the one time you fell on the ice and knocked will down with you (that was the last time you went on the pond)

- or the time you both snuck ice cream during a sleepover and were laughing so hard you had to muffle the sounds with your hands to not wake colleen

- you ended up waking grace but she just grabbed a spoon

- your first kiss being each other when you were younger (you both blushed when talking about that one)

- you grabbed each others numbers before you left and promised to text soon

- will texted first and invited you to a game

- he offered to get you tickets in the family room but you declined, getting tickets behind the bench

- you said next time you’d take up his offer

- he was going to get you a jersey, but you showed up wearing his u15 one he gave you 💗

- gave you a puck and promised to sign it

- he could hear you the whole game, chewing when he scored a girl and when you were chirping him when he was in the penalty box

- mack found out who you were when he saw will looking at you

- turned around and waved with a big goofy smile on his face

- teased will the whole game and made him let mack meet you

- toff tagged along when meeting you after the game (you and will had planned to hang out)

- “i see you’re the one who kept him in line as a kid” toff had joked when he saw you

- “i did my best”

- mack was shy when he actually met you but nice, asked will a bunch of questions later when will got back

- you both went to your apartment and ordered takeout

- talked and then watched home alone (will would always put it on even when it wasn’t christmas)

- walked him to the door and he almost kissed you when he left but didn’t

- regretted it when he got to his car but not for too long cause you had chased him downstairs and kissed him in the parking lot, asking him to stay

- he did 😙

- he had the day off the next day, but he would’ve stayed even if he didn’t 💗

- you can guess what happened next

- morning was spent basking in the time you had before you had to confront what happened and what was next

- talked over coffee and decided to see where this would go

- when will found out you were taking the bus to school when you couldn’t walk, he’d give you a ride 💗

- nights were spent driving around (secretly) eating fast food and listening to music

- you even went night swimming in your underwear

- sometimes mack would tag along when you went out for dinner

- sleepovers were normally at your apartment so you could stay up and watch movies without mack complaining about you two being loud

- he invited you to any games he could

- and you eventually made it to the family box

- you had hung out with grace and colleen when they came down to san jose for a game

- ditched will and had a night just the girls 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩

- you two travelled back to lexington together for christmas break

- will officially asked you to be his girlfriend when he took you to the frozen pond you went to as kids during christmas break

- said yes (of course) and spent christmas with each other and your families

- you basked in the little bubble of privacy you had before you went back to sj

- your account was public and you had posted a hard launch, but no one knew of you until you went back

- had to private it for a little while

- but you’re a bad bitch 💋 and knew what you were getting into so it doesn’t affect you

- eventually you moved in together after a couple of months 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

- your cat comes with(obviously)

- she’s a rescue cat that hates men but she eventually warms up to will 🐈‍⬛

- off days are spent together baking or just staying in in general

- dinner dates every week and dinner dates with mack every week 🍝

- will is a huge cuddler

- always has a hand on you

- you get close to cat and the other wags

- (end up on the podcast)

- most mornings you go to the coffee shop near your apartment and people watch before you have to go to school

- travelling for some games (when you can)
