âI think I have a flyer in my bag.â Lance moves to the bag in question, beginning to dig through it. itâs slightly crumpled, but she offers it to Wendy, âOne Saturday evening a month. If that doesnât work I can fit you in another time.â Lance nods. âItâs always good to know some self defense. Regardless of what it is like, though I will agree, this time more than ever is cause for learning some.â
Wendy took the flyer from her, nodding along as the woman spoke. She wasnât very good at fighting. She was more of a peacemaker than a fighter but she knew she had to give self-defence a shot. The town was becoming more and more dangerous and if she wanted to keep herself and everyone safe, Wendy had to try. âOf course,â she replied. âThank you for the information.â She moved the flyer to her bag before returning her attention to the woman. âMy name is Wendy, by the way. I donât think I mentioned that before,â she said as she held out her hand.
