“Oh the POWER!” he says with a side smile. “ Don’t worry, I’ll use it for good. How do you feel about Hawaiian Pizza? I know a lot of people like to dog on it, but I do love me some pineapple!”

“That sucks,” he said with a sympathetic half smile, “I bet that is a sucky situation to live with. I’d probably end up always talking to myself.” he said trailing off a bit at the end. “And probably end up fighting a lot,” he continued. He perked up when she said she’d be interested in watching it. “Really? Awesome! I’ll put it on an usb asap,” he grinned.

“Maybe they weren’t born yet or took a wrong turn in Albuquerque,” he said with a soft shrug. He had to admit that it did seem a bit strange that the older folks hadn't found their pair until now; until they decided to be part of this show.

“Are you playing on the hardest setting or do you just suck?” he asked with a coy smile. He plopped down next to the fellow werewolf watching to see how she played the game. Wolf wasn’t much of a gamer, he preferred to be outside climbing something or breaking into something. 

“I don’t have anything planned, but I’m sure if we put our heads together we can find something to do,”  he said with a wide grin. Wolfgang wasn’t one to shy away from hanging with new people, so sat down next to her making himself comfortable. 

“It sounds more like a fucking drag,” he said with a dry laugh. “Ghosts and other shit? Am I going to have to shower with my underwear on now? What if something attacks while I’m taking a shower? Or is that the real reason for our partners?” He joked.

“Well that’s just fucking perfect,” he said with heavy sarcasm. “I didn’t sign up for this. How is this going to help me get closer to whoever the hell I’m supposed to ‘be with’?” he asked no one in particular. He scoffed and rolled his eyes before sinking down to the ground next to the woman who seemed to be muttering something. He glanced towards her calming down a bit. “Do ya think the ghosts are old contestants or something?” he asked 

“Ah shit, you saw that?” he said clearing his throat. He shook his head as he dusted off his newly ripped jeans. “Nah, I don’t think I got anything too serious, but thanks. You, uh, heal people?”

He shrugged a bit. “Not really used to people caring about me. Yeah, they say it, but I don’t believe them. People...Creatures like to lie about stuff like that,” he said with a soft bitterness in his voice. “Jazz, Rock, Classical, anything really. Except, maybe country, I only play that when I’m broken hearted,” he joked. “As for why I’m here,” he paused for a moment, “I’m here for the money. I don’t really care if they pair me up and say that this person is my perfect pair. I don’t really believe in that. I mean, I’m not going to shy away from it, but I just doubt that whoever made the show is able to really know. What about you?” He asked. 

“I think that would be too easy,” Wolf grins. “We are meant to be tortured remember? I think it needs to be all green”

He smiled at her feeling comforted that he would have someone to help him if he needed it. He was quiet for a moment, looking away with a melancholy expression. After realizing that he’d momentarily got lost in his thoughts he cleared his throat. “Uh, sorry, I um am not used to people saying things like that. It’s nice...I”m Wolfgang, Wolf for short,” he said introducing himself. “if you ever need me to fetch something or play a tune for you I’m your guy...and I’m glad my savior is a cutie as well.”

“Hmm,” he said with a shrug. He had never thought about it like that. “I don’t know maybe. Wolves are usually very aggressive, the slightest thing sets them off and they fight. I guess I just see them as tamer because they typically just get it on rather than fight,” he laughed.

“Um, will I loose my cool points if I say yes?” he asks as he raises an eyebrow. He smiled at her. “Yeah, I - uh - I fractured it. I would have broken it if I wasn’t a wolf. You really should have been there to save me. I’ll be honest, I need someone to save me every now and then.” Though he was joking, Wolfgang was serious. He needed someone to save him from himself. 

“Well I don’t know,” he smiled. “827 years is kind of old,” he joked. “I’m only 183, so I’m a heck of a lot younger. You could teach me so much about the world.” he continued. “I’m not really what you call a fighter. I mean, in wolf form I can’t always help it, but I just don’t see the point.” He nodded with the other explained about the food situation for vampires. “Oh, that does sound like a sucky situation,” he said with a coy grin. “Nothing compares to fresh food.”
