Luna continued to eat, ignoring everything around her. When she finished, she took a sip from her glass of water and gazed around to see one man in particular staring at her. She realised it was because of the food she had just consumed.

“Can I get you anything else?” The waitress had returned, questioning her again.

Happier now, she glanced over to the counter and saw a fresh pie, she licked her lower lip subtly. “Ooh, I’d love a slice of that pie over there.”

The waitress giggled a little and nodded her head before she tottered over and back, placing the pie before Luna. “Enjoy.”

Deciding to follow it up, he parked outside the local wood, hoping to find something of use. Dean managed to slip underneath the crime-scene tape, and kneel down beside the corpse. Claw marks, there wasn’t many, but enough to incapacitate and kill. Taking a moment, he rose his head to glance around, and that’s when he saw the fur. It was caught on a rose’s thorn. 

From there, the tracks head to where he expected, through the woods and onto the next town; it tried to escape, flee. Dean wasn’t about to let his lead run cold, so he sat back inside the Impala and drove to the nearest town. It wasn’t large, but small enough for word to spread quickly.

He had no leads, other than a witness who’s story sounded to more like drug-addiction than truth. Knocking a couple of times on the student’s front door, he waited idly before greeting the youth.

“My name’s--” Cut off, Dean’s eyes narrowed as he was ushered inside by the recluse. [”You’re here for that /thing/, right?”] Dean answered truthfully, and listened to the boy’s plea for understanding and acknowledgment.
