Riots have yet to slove the racism and police brutality problem in the United States and in many cases made things worse for the people living in those communities.

Maybe the defunding the police and widespread training in de-esclation will make cops less eager to use force. Because they are very eager to use force and my god they don’t need surplus military APCs and MRAPs they ain’t getting hit by IEDs and heavy machine guns.

The racism is more of a social problem though... Maybe 2021 will start with some long lasting change... That is if we make it that far.
