“what’s a flower crown, how am i supposed to wear it? i look like jesus!”
Imagine Jack almost burning the bunker down...
Your whole body curled as you reacted to the enormous bang that radiated down the hallway. The sonic noise echoed throughout the library, which caused every single bookshelf to rattle against the stone wall. Why? Why was it too much to ask for an hour of peace?
Without a word, you closed the ear-marked book in front of you and stood from your seat. Everything about the situation screamed that it was Dean’s fault, but Sam was never off the hook anymore. Even Cas had been the culprit a few times.
Long story short, there was never a dull moment living in the bunker with four hunters.
The moment you entered the hall, you noticed a thin layer of smoke coming from the end of the hall. Great, what was on fire this time? As you approached the end of the hall, you realized that the smoke was coming from Jack’s room. That was odd. Jack was never up to no good. If he wasn’t reading, he was by your side researching or watching a new show. He wasn’t one to just blow something up.
“Jack?” Just as you said his name, a figure emerged from the smoke, coughing. Your eyes locked on Jack, his arm covering the lower part of his face.
“Y/N!” Jack choked, nearly slamming into you. “I—Uh.” His wide eyes fixing back on the smoke. “I had a nightmare.” He sucked in a breath. “You were taken and I couldn’t get to you.”
You frowned and wrapped your arms around Jack’s neck. “It’s okay, it’s not real—“
“Is no one concerned about the fire?” Dean shouted from behind you, armed with a fire extinguisher. You quickly let go of Jack and turned around, but Jack’s arm, around your waist, stopped you.
“I’ve got it.” Jack snapped his fingers and the fire vanished, smoke and all. Sometimes you forgot about the power your brilliant boyfriend possessed.
Dean froze. “Why didn’t you do that right away?!” he snapped, glaring at Jack’s hand against your lower stomach. He never liked how closed you and Jack had become, especially lately.
“I was startled,” was the only explanation he offered before he turned you around and pressed a light kiss to your forehead. “I’m sorry,” he muttered into your ear.
“Don’t be sorry, Jack. I have nightmares too.” You rested your head against his chest. “Just try not to burn the bunker down next time.” You raised your head again. “And, just remember, I’m not going anywhere.”
