Really saying I never use Airtel 2g intenet  because of slow speed in my area but airtel speed is best at my friend house which is located at Banjara hills,Hyderabad.As I already said in my previous post that Internet speed depend on place and signal strength but I have some simple helpful  tricks to increase internet speed on airtel.

I was chatting with my friend,who is an electrical engineer and I told him about this slow internet speed problem.He advised me to add DNS settings and gave me DNS settings of Airtel GPRS and wow my internet speed increased too much extent and download speed too increased to 8-9 kbps.Though it is not enough but helped me to write this post.Below are some tips to increase Airtel internet speed.

How to increase airtel speed on computer :

1. Add  Primary and secondary DNS settings to increase internet speed

Primary DNS : 208.67.222.222 Secondary DNS : 208.67.220.220

2.Use Authentication Access number i.e *99#,some people’s use *99***1# but *99# helped me .

Increase Airtel internet speed on mobile :

1. If you are using internet on mobile phone and want to increase 2G internet speed then use Mobile Office internet settings,ask your customer care to send mobile office GPRS settings and you can also visit Airtel website, enter your mobile number and you will get settings on your mobile phone.Click here to visit Airtel data service site.

My entire home is connected with WiFi and I rarely use internet when ever I go out of my home.As you know that I’m a  big fan of BSNL and Airtel but I use Uninor for calling in local because most of the friends and relatives have Uninor connection due to low calling rates and cheap unlimited calls.Most of my friends are happy with Uninor but they only complaint about internet speed,long time to connect and frequently disconnecting problems.

Normally we use Alt+Ctrl+Del or Windows+L to lock our computer.Today I came up with a  simple trick to lock Computer using Mouse .This trick is simple and won’t harm your computer.By this trick a shortcut will be created on your desktop and just by click on the shortcut your PC will be locked.

How to Lock Computer Using Mouse :

1. Right click on the Desktop,navigate to New and the click Shortcut.

2. In the Create Shortcut dialog box,copy and paste rundll32 user32.dll,LockWorkStation into the Type the location of the item text box and click Next.

3. In Type a name for this shortcut, type LOCK PC and Click Finish button.

An icon will be created on your desktop and when ever you double click on the icon, your desktop will be locked.I had personally tested in XP (2 and 3),Vista and Windows 7 .

You may can think that in this age of windows 8 and windows 10 operating system why I’m writing this post on how to easily install Windows XP Professional operating system.This is because there are still many business organization,people and shops owners who use this out dated operating system specially in India.Today I got a call from near by mobile shop owner and he told me that his windows got corrupted and as you know that I’m a tech savvy,I feel happy to repair computers and laptops.

After visiting him,I asked him to give an operating system DVD and he gave me windows XP SP3 CD and asked me to install it.I just looked at him and advice him to go for Windows 7 operating system.But he simply denied and told me that windows XP is very easy to operate and many business owners use it.

As you know that what ever I learn I post it on my Blog but as it is an out dated OS version,I thought is it useful for my readers ? so searched online and found that still many people use it but its my advice not to use this Windows XP operating system because Microsoft no more support Windows  Xp  and stopped windows update, so now hackers may easily hack your system due to loop holes in the windows XP.

Why OS get corrupted : Operating system may get corrupted due to power failure or by some virus problems. Some Notes before starting Windows XP installation: Never save any data on desktop or C: drive because it may slow down your OS and Installing or reinstalling Windows XP only affects C: drive so can save your data on another drives or external storage devices like CD/DVD or pen drive.

step by Step Guide to install Windows XP professional operating system :

installing process for windows xp service pack 2,service pack 3,professional is same just follow below stepl.

Note : Keep your windows xp product key ready and your OS CD should not have many scratches because some data may be lost due to scratches.

Step 1 : Insert the windows XP operating system CD in your CD/DVD ROM and then restart your PC.Go to BIOS Setting by pressing DELETE button as soon as your system restarts or reboot.Go to Boot order and make CD ROM first OS booting source. Save the settings and again restart your computer system.

When PC reboots it asks Press any button to boot from CD and you can press any button.After successfully boot from the CD, you will see a Windows XP Welcome to Setup  screen and just press ENTER to begin the setup process.

Step 2: After you press ENTER,you will see  Windows XP license agreement page. Here You to press F8 to accept it . Step 3: Now first Windows will automatically search for existing Windows installations(if any). You will see the next repair or install fresh copy screen appear only if you are reinstalling a new XP operating system. Step 4: If you don’t want to repair then press ESC key. After pressing the ESC key, you will get a list of partitions available on your hard drive.Select the partition in which you want to install Windows XP,usually C:  by using UP and DOWN arrow keys

Step 5 : if you don’t have any partitions then press C button and create partitions and press ENTER to install OS on selected partition. Step 6:  When you press ENTER to install OS,you will see format page and select the option to “Format the partition using the NTFS file system (quick) and press ENTER.Press F key to continue formatting selected partition.

Step 7: After formatting the drive, it will automatically start copying the contains from your CD . Step 8: After copying from CD it will restart and ask you a message Press any key to continue from CD,Do not press any key otherwise it will start formatting again from the first step. New Paypal Headache : Update your PayPal with Chip and PIN card

Few hours ago I have received an email form PayPal stating that I have to update my PayPal account with my new Chip and PIN enabled Credit Card.If you are a PayPal user from India and if already received new Debit card or Credit card issued by your bank with new chip and pin then update it or else visit your bank’s nearest branch and apply for new chip and PIN enabled Card.

For many Indian PayPal users it may be a headache but we have to say thanks to RBI for our card security ,RBI to secure card transactions ordered all banks to issue new Chip and PIN enabled Cards and many banks already issued and I too received my HDFC new chip and PIN enabled card.
