Like I think it's really telling that our society idealizes the general concept of "a romantic partner" to a degree where the status and validation associated with getting someone to fill that role for you frequently ends up being prioritized above the individuality of the person you're dating. Like the concept of "having a partner" is by itself considered so valuable that it often ends up overshadowing who the person you supposedly love the most in the entire world actually is as an individual and that's scary to me

all movies are for children because the moving image is inherently juvenile. to be entertained by it even moreso

In light of recent events, I have begun submitting bug reports when I see mature content labels applied inappropriately to posts, especially if an appeal has been rejected.

Extremely good idea - how are you doing it? Through the contact us option?

for what it's worth: after a few months of submitting help tickets as 'feedback' when i saw a post inappropriately flagged as mature, i tried following this suggestion instead. today i got my first-ever response from tumblr support on this issue, letting me know that a post i'd submitted a ticket before has had its mature content flag removed.

you have permission to pick that 2 year old "abandoned" project back up. it's not mad at you for setting it aside. and maybe time and distance have helped ease or erase the things that made you put it down in the first place.

i understand that it's unreasonable to expect a band on world tour to play in every country in the world but i do think they should only be allowed to call it a world tour if they play in every continent. we need to make it embarrassing to say world tour and then not even step foot in africa
