What a delight!” Endike cares for isolated elderly people in Hull. 75% of the service users at Endike have memory impairments. Endike used 10 tablets given by WaveLength to use as part of their Magical Memory Tours. The programme allows people to view pictures of their hometown as it looked in the past and take photos of how the area looks now.

Treat yourself as if you love yourself, even if you don’t

Drink more water and tea.

Treat yourself to a face mask or skin care regimen.

Do yoga or go for a walk.

Play with your pets more often.

Sit in the sun for as long as you can stand it.

Do things you enjoy and don’t care about how others judge your interests.

Keep around the honest, genuine people who love and appreciate you. Listen to their kind words and take them seriously.

Get rid of any negative people in your life; those who judge you, discourage you, or mock you.

Set alarms to take your meds so you don’t forget.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help.

And most importantly, don’t be too hard on yourself. We all struggle, we just have a tough time admitting it to others. Be kind and gentle with your progress, and don’t compare yourself to others. They are on their own journey, at their own speed, and so are you.
