I live in my own bubble.

“I’ll be here.”

He leaves and comes back after ten minutes.

“Oh…right.”  She takes out a scrape piece of paper and writes her information on it.

He takes it. “I’ll make a few phone calls then.”

“thank you.”

“If you give me your information, I would be happy to help.”

“I often wonder why.  But I love you too.”

“Good, I’ll be right back.”

“You’re to good to me.”

“No I just love you.”

“A-are you sure?”

“Of course.”

“Good. That’s what I like to hear.” 

“And take everything my wife says... with a grain of salt. She doesn’t take things as serious as I do.. Or you. Most times.”

“I just need to make sure my brother is secure.” 

“I can help you.”

“Just you and our pjs.” 

“Get changed, pick a pair for me and I’ll be back.”

“Cookies and creamery.”  She sighs leaning on him.  “I don’t, but I can pretend.”

“I’ll be right back.” He kisses her head. “Need anything else whiles I’m out?”

She stares at the card debating on asking her next question.  “Do you know anything about how visas work?”

“Yes, I know people who can help too since I used to work for the federal government.”

“Regardless of the probability, I must take all concerns in regards to my team seriously.” 

“Well rest assured that you have no concerns when it comes to me or my abilities or focus and determination.”

She takes the card.  “Thank you…”  She looks at the card.  “Watson..it feels funny calling you Masters.”

“You can call me Watson, that’s fine.” He smiles at her.

“Coldstone.  I seriously hate you.”

“Midnight delight,  Cookie dough delerium, Cookies and creamery, Strawberry Passion, or Cake Batter Confettti.” He asks, having already memorized. “And no you don’t.”

“They barley know my name do not worry.”

He hands her his card to her. “Call me if you need anything, okay?”

“….I hate you…but yes please.”

“Coldstone? Carvel? Baskin Robins?”

“No!  You can’t be a sweet good husband when I’m trying to beat you in a sass battle!  It’s not fair!”

“So... Ice cream cake?”
