An empty feeling. A sudden drop of emotion. Your chest felt heavy with a indescribable change. What was wrong? Your life felt complete. Perfect workplace as a combat trainer for Overwatch, appreciated by all your coworkers, and engaged to the most handsome man on base; Gabriel Reyes.
In recent events, Blackwatch has exposed itself to the world with the attack on Venice. Talonās leader was dead, and your fiancĆ© held the highest target on his head. Upon returning from the intense mission, Commander Morrison suspended the Blackwatch crew in the time of debriefing and further investigation into what went wrong. //
Days had gone by. You noticed Gabriel wasnāt himself, in the slightest. The shell of a man wandered your shared quarters. What happened on this mission? He had barely shared a word with you since returning and no one else on base was allowed to give any information on the confidential investigation. You figured war gets to be a heavy toll on the best of soldiers, but this was a new playing field.
āAmor, you havenāt touched your breakfast. I made your favorite and itās getting coldā¦āYou look over at him, doing your best to initiate a conversation you longed for in the last few days. The silence was killing you slowly. Your patience wore thin. You wanted to understand, you wanted to help, you just wanted to hear his voice. Your doubts began to rose again. This feeling. Suddenly, he gave a deep sigh and looked up at you.

All soldiers in position as if a fight had just broken out. You spot Commander Morrison, shock and horror reading on his face once he spots you. You run to him and he knows exactly why.
