I AM A LEAF ON THE WIND

here’s a new thing I’m trying: when I’m thinking of someone or something reminds me of someone and they’e not someone I talk to often I just text them or whatever anyway instead of having anxiety over whether it’s weird or not to tell someone they’d like the netflix special I just watched.

Most of my library teens were 7 when I made my tumblr which is weirder than the teens that followed my tumblr 8 years ago being adults now.

I know empathy is part of what I asked for when I decided I wanted to feel things again. But fuck empathy is just the hardest emotion to have. You just get heartbroken about things you can’t even fix or effect cause they don’t involve you in any way. And I just have so many feelings and care so deeply and when people I care about are hurting my whole soul rips in half feeling it all.

Okay so maybe last week at Yule Ball we encouraged two of our sweet shy nerdy teens, who obviously have had crushes on each other for a while, to dance together. And maybe they exchanged numbers after Yule Ball. And maybe they went on a date on the weekend. Ahhh cute baby love in the library. ☺️☺️☺️
