私は、人の顔や表情、コミュニケーションから垣間見える興奮、肌の温もり、視線、突発性を非常に重視して作品を作ってきました。

何か伝わったらいいな、、、という事ではなく、上記のものは常に私の中を練り歩いています。それらとうまくやっていけたらいいのに、それらがむしろ、私の終点への道のりを邪魔しています。それを取り除くために、私は無理やり形に出しているのかもしれません。でも皮肉なことに、出したものは分裂した私として、ひとりでに存在を持ってしまいます。取り除きたいものが何か、明確にわからないので、終点の説明をします。

私の思う終点とは、

おさえきれない、かかえきれない、ギリギリの、弾けそうな何か、皮が引っ張られて、色がそこだけ変色して、質量を持っているように感じる何か、太陽の光のような匂いがして、とめどなく内側から放出され続ける、新星の周りにある、蜃気楼をかき集めたみたいな何か、ワクワクが止まらなくて、気づいたら笑ってて、走り出したくなるような衝動を起こす何か、声援を浴びている間の舞台裏、妙に暖かくて表面から眠くなっていく時、建物は低く、もしくは高いところのてっぺんで、地球の表面に自分はいる、と感じた時、気持ちいいという言葉からもっとネバネバを抜き去った、人間の本能や欲求を超えた何か、ぶわっと頬が熱くなって地球の中心から今自分は浮き上がってきたんだと感じる時。
