Thinking ahead to 2027 now that we're coming up close to August teasers... Going to be a bit of a ramble so I'm throwing it under a readmore, but it's just some reflection about the first six months of this year and thinking about what I want for next year
This was my first year using a weeks and it actually became my favorite part of my journaling. I liked the layout and it was what I spent the most time using this year by far, and I look forward to making a weekly spread every weekend.
I also have managed to keep up with my A6 for the first time in several years of using Hobonichi so that bodes very well for my overall journaling in the next year. I felt constrained a lot and often felt like the size was too tiny, but when I had a lot to write, I really enjoyed it! I like getting a little more in depth with decoration, and i like planning out fic in my A6, as well as other things. I dont ALWAYS write a lot but I think I could get really into collage on blank spaces
So with those thoughts in mind, here's what I'm thinking for 2027
I'm definitely buying a new Weeks. I use it to track chores and events/appointments, as well as a mini habit and sleep tracker. I want to continue that in 2027
I also want a second weeks... I almost jumped this year and almost got a second back around January, but I didn't want to just do it with no plan. But one thing I really enjoyed this year was tracking what I physically read and watch, and I think I wanted a dedicated media Weeks for next year
I also think I want to upgrade to the Cousin size instead of just the A6. My friend has the cousin and I love that size by comparison.

My goal in 2027 is also to do more Commonplace journaling. I've done it only a few times this year, but I've really enjoyed that! I would also like to use MORE of my backlog of stickers and washi. I know I have too many but I can't help subbing to Stickii every month🫣
I think I'd also like to get one of those mini sticker printers everyone shares online. I LOVE those! I want to use my current printer more too, but it's a full size printer and I think a mini printer would be great to have at some point... Maybe christmas ?
oh, and i would also like a nice grey highlighter that I can use w my kakuno... I like my cool grey mildliner but I cannot find a replacement for it? Maybe I just didnt have luck on amazon before. My tombow n95 feathers though! I guess I'll find it on jetpens
ohh and! and. i'm interested in getting a converter and a couple extra kakunos, perhaps some pots of ink... I'm not going to get Too Wild about that however, but i am interested...

Hello pretty friends!! Happy Wednesday!! Recently I’ve been learning some basic tarot.. It is a lot of fun & so interesting. It came from the whole “no buy - shop my own stash” concept that I’ve been trying this year.. I’ve had a variety of decks for many many years, but recently have just shown a lot more interest in spending the time to learn it.
So far the shopping my own stash years has been going pretty good besides needing a couple of things for the shop or things that ran out!
Anyone else trying a no-spend week, month, year? I’ve been getting so annoyed with myself bc I find so many goodies that I forgot about! It’s exciting but also like… what the heck Jeni, how many did you need?!😹😹😬🤦♀️
