"Emmet has been trying to convince me to replace my coat.... I'm not sure how I feel about it. It's been with me through a lot. Yes, it is not professional I understand that but... It's my coat, you understand?"
âWell, you donât have to throw it away or anything. You should just get a new coat for work and just keep the old one to wear on your off time. That should work right?â
"That is true, but then I need to contend with the new-fabric texture. My current coat is already soft inside and where I touch it most, and I am used to it. I do not want to be overwhelmed because of a new texture, and give someone a lackluster battle..." Admittedly though, he didn't think about keeping the coat for out of work. That does make him feel a little bit better.
âIâm sure we can find a tailor that could make a coat with the same kind of texture if needed. Itâll be on the expensive side because of it being custom made but it isnât out of the question. Some people are allergic to some fabrics so custom made clothes are on the common side.â She suggested.
"Maybe... But then I have to sit for measurements, and that sounds like.. a lot." Sitting still, people touching him, having to make conversation while that goes on... Ingo shuddered to think about it.
âHm.... How about I take your measurements then? I know how to do that because I can sew myself but not professionally. If you are comfortable with it that is. I was just thinking since you know me it wouldnât be so hard. I take your measurements, find a tailor and order it for you.â She offered with a small smile. âAgain, only if you are ok with it. I donât want to be weird.âÂ
Ingo paused to consider the offer. "Hmm. Yes, that might be alright... Certainly better than in a public setting with a stranger." Maybe he would get a replacement after all.
