Kinda funny. Backing up hard drives and found this! The first single from the first ever spy island release. When spy island was a duo. David Serra played drums and keys and sang with me. AllMUSIC: **** When Detroit indie rockers Spy Island proclaim "Super-size, it's the American way!," they are clearly being ironic, since their particular brand of sweetly spastic lo-fi is certainly not super-sized. Instead, the duo crafts quick and concise pop songs with abrupt tempo shifts and melodic hooks that stick like the gum all the hip kids are chewing.
