Breath of fresh air

Their first meeting is totally like a shoujo manga for me.

And Kise joined basketball club so that he can play against Aomine. They quarrel everyday like elementary school students but at the same time they really appreciate each other as teammates. “You’re the one who make me stronger”

Until Aomine’s talent bloomed and everything changed. I saw this panel in Extra game 5 so can I assume that Kise was depressed that time because it’s related to Aomine?

Maybe he realized that he’s not stronger enough to become Aomine’s rival and Aomine won’t play with him anymore. 

I think the climax between these two dorks is during Touou vs Kaijou’s match. Aomine was self-centered and a jerk. Moreover we have many precious moments like “I know you the best”  “He’s frigging cool” and….

The most angst part…..

I think they might have an awkward relationship after this match. They probably make up again after the famous boyfriend punch since Aomine went to meet Kise. Once again I want to thanks Haizaki.  I’m sure that start from here, these 2 dorks start to have a stable relationship since Aomine had graduated from Chuunibyou LOL. 

And from the extra game, we can see Aomine’s development Pure!Mine” > “Chuunibyou!Mine” > “Boyfriend!Mine” > “Perfect boyfriend!Mine”. 

Why perfect boyfriend? 

“Sighh….fine, you can take him on” I love the fact that Aomine actually respects Kise’s decision and never questions him which means Aomine believes in Kise’s potential. Mutual respect is essential in maintaining healthy relationships  “I said you can have it! But if you suck we’re switching back!” did you guys notice this ? It sounds like “If something happens, I’ve got your back! ” Of course Aomine won’t say it since he’s quite a tsundere.
