Chapter 08 - 81

So it’s been a very long time. And I am here with some life updates for those of you who don’t follow me on my personal blog. I’m still working from home during quarantine so my time hasn’t really altered, but about  month back I found out that I was going to lose my job. I had spent all that time mainly focusing on working on my portfolio, applying for other jobs, feeling generally depressed and scared about being jobless during a pandemic, while still being contractually obligated to keep working for my company until my termination date. So unfortunately this doujinshi hadn’t been my priority and I’m very sorry to keep everyone waiting.

There’s some better news tho. Since then, my company has decided to keep me for an additional 3 months so I have so cushion time to continue to find another job. And this past week I spend the entire time working for an art test for a potential employer. I really want to finish this chapter still, so I’ll do my best to carve out some free time.

In the meantime–the real questions. Of course everyone probably knows by now about the Inuyasha sequel series that is going to be released, Yashahime: Half-Demon Princess. Everyone’s been asking me about my thoughts on it, and what it means for Raindrops. I have answered this question on my personal blog, but let me just state here, that I am completely ignoring the series and am not going to read or watch it. It will affect this doujinshi in no way, and I will continue to make this fancomic for your reading enjoyment. As far as I and this comic are concerned, THAT THING DOES NOT EXIST.
