i'm noticing a little surge in video games (particularly nintendo) that take place on an island since the early 2020s. animal crossing: new horizons is like patient zero to that. this is gonna be the 2020s version of gelatin dishes, but i don't think it's gonna become frowned upon in 20 years. it's going to become quite nostalgic to me.

btw i'm not trying to link this phenomenon to the Files. it's mostly innocent games that i notice taking place on islands these days

why do some people in the devo/boingo communities think that combining the two groups is the equivalent to opening pandora's box? it seems like you have to like one or the other, but not both at the same time. idk if something happened between the two groups, like if they were against each other, but i keep them separate by default. i'm just a little confused as to why it's like that.

there should be a mod in FNAF 2 where mangle is actually rendered in the map instead of a .png over the camera footage. no bells, no whistles. just mangle actually being in the building.

the way mangle appears in-game sometimes feels like scott rushed to finish the game. (he probably did though.) FNAF 2 was going to come out in 2015, but it came out around november/december 2014 instead.

foxy from fnaf 1 was also kinda rushed, but he got to be rendered in-game. we never got to see him in the trailer. if i remember correctly, scott said he modeled foxy on a bumpy car ride. it would be funny if we found out that every variation of foxy was made last-minute. but still, mangle is my favorite fnaf character and they need justice.

i like mangle because they are a former animatronic performer whose fate ended up in the hands of unruly children. scott officially stated that mangle's gender is "yes," so we have bigender representation in the form of a cutesy two-headed tangle of animatronic mech. mangle can climb on the ceiling and defy gravity despite being as heavy as a damn clawfoot bathtub.

so yeah, i wanted to yap about mangle for a bit. thanks
