You close your eyes, your breath caught in your throat.  It takes you a moment to register what’s happening before you can reciprocate the kiss.  He smells of the sea and tastes salty, but you relish the heat and the contact more than anything.  You start to reach out with your hand to caress him but suddenly think otherwise and put your hand back down awkwardly.  You continue trying to make idle chit chat because you feel so unsure of what to do now.
