and I wanna finish with saying that calling transsexuality a condition isn't damning. it has the same connotation as saying, "this person has lupus, a condition which causes their body to mistakenly attack healthy cell groups." the trans equivalent is "this person is trans, which is a condition that causes a their brain to expect different sex features from their natal sex, causing chronic distress." should the future of science aim to reduce the number of cases in both scenarios to lessen human suffering? yes. is it inherently bad for someone to have either of these conditions? no, it's just a result of the human body encountering typical problems in biology.

if I acquire a functioning phone by june 6 (one month of not having a phone), I'll be impressed. current plan is to ask an apple store to refurbish my old gen 5 iphone, but there's no guarantee they can do that. I'm also too panicky to go to the store alone, but nobody is willing to take me. maybe one of my providers can help me with it this week, but idk.
