{ Oh man I’ve never done one of these before, and I’m probably gonna suck at doing this, but just know that I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!! I REALLY DO!!! I made this blog nearly three years ago, and to think that I’d ever have this blog long enough to acquire 900+ followers!!!    monsters—could the things outside be called such when humans    managed to be cruel too, that definition was subjective but it was    good to find someone who didn’t want to eat his flesh. strange to    see a child all by themselves, who would leave their kid alone in    the middle of the end of the world—unless she didn’t have parents,    not that Pagan was going to ask, he didn’t want a sob story. gently    crouching down and putting the machete to the side, the man offered    a hand, making sure she understood the hammer was making things    tense between the two, there was no need for violence right now.

                           his words were confusing and probably lies. no one                            is monster by own choice anger  sadness make  people's                            minds snap damage caused by hurt    that's what clementine                            believes in and that's what her parents taught her. she                            she flinches at his offered hand,  grips onto hammer tighter                            than ever but eventually gives other the weapon.   nonsense,                            this close     the eight years old child wouldn't stand a chance.

   he sifts through his backpack, reaching deep before fingertips     brush past a smooth surface. he grasps it within his palm, pulls    it out, and glances down at the green apple. he was saving it — a    snack whilst he could find something more filling, but that was     before meeting her. lips press shut for a moment before he     glances up at clementine, holding the fruit out for her to pick. 

                              clem nods head in agreement, eyes follow                               every step he mades until ---a green apple                               shines in his stain palm   not like she would mind.                               lips stretch into grateful smile as her own little                               hand reach for apple but before bite is realized;                               hesitation & narrowed eyes then words slid out.

  “f’now, yeah- yeah, we’re safe.”

      he doesn’t know for how long, but he doesn’t         want to worry her. now— this moment; that’s         all that matters.
