It was a bit bizarre, to have someone amazed by his species alone. In fact, the robot couldnât recall anyone who was mainly intrigued solely from his species other than Meta Knight.
To be frank, R.O.B. wasnât sure if he should be comforted or concerned by this.
ââŚR.O.BâŚ.â Came the robotâs reply. ââŚYouâŚhave come toâŚmeâŚseekingâŚfriendshipâŚ? âŚâŚWhyâŚ?â
âR.O.B!â He said enthusiastically, raising up his arms.Â
âThatâs nice.â His eyes darted up and down, examining the robots exterior design. It looked very well-crafted!Â
 âHuh?â He questioned. âWhy?â It was considered an odd question for him, and the yellow sphere sort of shrugged. âWhat do you mean? Because having friends are good, of course!âÂ
âDid you not wanna be friends, or something--?â He asked, but then quickly dismissed the idea. âOf course you do!â He smiled.

Slowly, the robot whirred his way around, turning to face the yellow blob of a creature. This had to have been a newcomer. There was no data about any sort of âyellow blobsâ participating in the previous tournament.
âŚUnless a certain yellow mouse went under some drastic changes since the last time heâs seen themâŚ
ââŚI am aâŚrobot, that isâŚcorrect,â R.O.B. replied in his usual stilted manner, raising an arm up briefly before lowering it. âMy nameâŚis R.O.BâŚ.is thereâŚsomething youâŚâŚneededâŚ?â
The young Pac-person smiled wider in amusement. It was a real functional robot! What a surprise.
 âNo way! Thatâs amazing.â He chuckled in amusement. He examined the robotâs shiny metals, and was almost compelled to touch them. But he stopped himself, shrugging his urges off.
 âOh, sorry, I donât need nothing.â He winked. âJust to be your friend. What was your name again?â He asked curiously.

âThere was an island for the last tournamentâŚIt wasnât exactly like this island, full of resorts and such, butâŚit was relatively peaceful for some timeâŚ.until the Subspace Army came and took the island by force. It was a rough time, but that island isnât far from hereâŚThough, it now holds many dark creatures, and itâs considered by most to be off-limits. The main center for this tournament, however, is the island weâre on now.â
âOh, I see.â The yellow ball nodded, trying to keep up with the womanâs explanation.
 âDidnât know this place had so much history!â He smiled widely. âIâm sure everythingâs all peaceful now, right?â

Roy blinked a couple of times at the sight of the other. What in blazes was he? Was he a Pokemon? He didnât really look like a Pokemon, but what else could he be? He definitely wasnât a human. Regardless, the Young Lion decided to be friendly and greet the other, smiling cheerfully.Â
âOh! I donât suppose that Iâve met you before! Are you a new competitor, by any chance? My name is Roy, by the way!â
How nice! Today, it was Pac-Man who was initially approached. His head raised up, and then down, quickly examining the new person he had come into contact with.
âI donât think you have.â He smiled.
âNice to meet you, Roy. Iâm Pac-Man! And yeah, I am new around here!â Â
Zelda smiled, looking down at Pac-Man.
âItâs nice to meet you, Pac-Man. I hope you enjoy your time here! As for myselfâŚOn this particular island, no, but as for the tournamentsâŚThis is my third one.â
âIsnât that cool?â He smiled in astonishment. âIâve never participated in tournaments--â a thought came across his mind.
âSo thereâs other islands then?â He asked with curiosity.
