The Novice Writer

(Vegas is the finance executive for TEC, Macau is an actor who keeps getting into scandals, Pete is Kinn's assistant and acts as liason to the actors, Arm is the IT director, Pol is the overworked assistant to Tankhun, Big was Kinn's old assistant but got transferred to Kim's department, Ken is head of training for the idols, Chan runs security, and the other bodyguards have miscellaneous jobs in the company. Gun is the chief financial officer but wants to be CEO)

Basically, 10 yrs ago Nampheung and Pat did a commercial for a wedding planning company and the child actress that was supposed to catch the bouquet at the end had to cancel last minute, and 8 yr old Chay (who was on set to support his parents) was the same height and weight as the actress so he acted in her place

Child actor Kim starred alongside child Chay, and he noticed that Chay was really nervous about being in front of the cameras so Kim gave him a good luck charm to help his nerves, and then developed the cutest crush on him after seeing Chay smile (thinking that Chay was a girl)

Even tho he hated acting, Kim continued being a child actor in hopes of meeting Chay again but gave up when he was 16, so he quit acting and becameWIK (and if a lot of his songs were about a childhood love and the one that got away, then he'll say its just a coincidence)

Fast forward, like, 10 years and the same wedding company wants to do a sequel to the first commercial to celebrate their 10 yr anniversary with the original actors, and they want Kim and Chay to reprise their roles except this time they're the ones getting married; the problem is that no one knows who the mysterious "girl" that caught the bouquet is (except the Kittisawats, of course, but they haven't told anyone the truth because it never came up)

uhhhh Korn wants Kim to do the commercial to try and get him to act again since Kim doesn't want WIK to face reveal and have ppl link his newfound fame to the Theerapanyakul name, Kim will only agree to do the commercial if the same cast is there (meaning: Chay) because he doesn't think it'll happen. Nampheung and Pat are excited to reshoot the commercial, but Chay doesn't want to act, thinking he'll be horrible, and initially refuses. He ends up agreeing when Porsche promises to get him tickets to his favorite artist, WIK's, next concert. you know where I'm going with this-

okay so we're following the love stage plot briefly: Chay agrees, he wears a wig and a wedding dress and Kim, who sees him for the first time in 10 years, falls in love all over again, Chay is nervous about acting again (and acting as a girl, since he's no longer a little kid so its weirder now) but he still has Kim's lucky charm from 10 years ago and Kim thinks its cute how Chay hasn't changed much from back then, and then he's blown away by Chay's acting skills (the commercial has, like, a little skit where Chay cries because he's nervous about the wedding and his mom, Nampheung, comforts him and then later cries because he's so happy when he sees the groom's (Kim) face)

Porsche is on set to support his precious little brother (and if he happens to meet Kinn, the President of TEC, who also happens to be on set to support his little brother, well...) and after the shooting finishes and the brothers are in the dressing room, he accidentally exposes that Chay is a boy in front of Kim (somehow? idk maybe he barges into the dressing room or something?)

ummmm stuff happens I haven't thought it through but Kim thinks that since Chay is a boy he'll lose interest in his 10 yr long crush but he ends up getting distracted at work thinking about Chay. He stealthily uses his Theerapanyakul Connections to get information about Chay (is it really kimchay if there's no stalking involved?), finds out he's related to the Kittisawats but isn't in the industry, and is just a normal student. That only makes him even more intrigued because Chay showed such raw talent during the filming so he convinces Kinn to reach out to the Kittisawats and ask if Chay would be interested in some film roles, but Chay refuses to be part of the industry so his family declines.

Kimlock Holmes is activated so he heads to the Kittisawat home for a visit to spy on Chay meet the Kittisawats formally, but for plot reasons the parents have to go to some kind of event and invites Kim to stay and wait for Chay to come back home to entertain him; Kim immediately searches the house and breaks into Chay's room and finds a shrine of every single promotional picture and album cover relating to WIK and somehow his crush only grows bigger? knowing that Chay is a genuine fan of his music

Chay comes home from cooking club to Kim sitting in his living room, and Kim skips imtroductions and proposes a deal: Chay come work with Kim on another acting gig (thinking that acting with Chay again will scratch his itch and he'll get over his crush, and it'll be his last acting job ever) and Kim will introduce him to WIK; Chay agrees only because WIK is his idol, and he's confident that he'll do such a bad job that Kim will leave him alone for good

kinnporsche side plot: after meeting Porsche at the wedding commercial shoot, Kinn watches every single movie and show Porsche has ever been in and becomes his number one fan. After failing to get Chay to agree to another filming stunt, he reaches out to Porsche specifically to flirt talk about Chay's decision to not follow his family's footsteps, and it turns into Kinn asking Porsche about his career and what he wants to do for the rest of his life

Kinn essentially asks Porsche to act for him, meaning that he'll manage Porsche's career and get him more acting gigs in different genres to break him out of that "action actor" mold; Porsche is suspicious since he's getting more out of this agreement than Kinn is, but he finally does agree. Kinn gets Porsche more roles, Porsche lets Kinn manage almost every aspect of his career, and somewhere along the way they start sleeping together, and then fall in love

idk what vegaspete are doing but they're doing better than the other couples

i haven't figured out if kimchay's acting gig is a music video for an idol Kim manages or a bl short film with them as the leads or something else, but its something that causes them to be close in proximity, Chay gets to showcase impressive acting skills, and Kim becomes whipped for Chay's earnest personality. He realizes that he doesn't want Chay to leave the industry or him, so he keeps dangling the fact that he knows WIK and can get Chay a meet and greet while convincing Chay to do more and more acting stuff

Korn notices that both his two younger sons have a Kittisawat sibling as their current obsessions so, hoping to tie Kim permanently to TEC and have him act again and hoping to keep Kinn as his heir to then company, Korn proposes a contract to the Kittisawat parents without their kids knowing, giving them TEC shares if and only if their Porsche and Chay agree to sign under TEC officially

(to clarify, Kinn has been managing Porsche but doing it off table, using TEC resources without Porsche being signed under the company. So Porsche is still an independent actor. Same thing with Kim and Chay.)

idk if i'll write this as an actual fic or keep it as an idea, but if anyone wants to use any part of this idea (or every part) for themselves and write their own fic, go ahead

(also idk how this happens but Kim finds out about Chay’s secret passion for music and realizes that he's wasted as an actor and should be an idol instead. and after Chay finds out that Kim is WIK, somehow, after a brief period of being upset that Kim has been lying to him, he and WIK record a duet together and the song becomes a huge success)
