I like reading fanfiction of shows i have no plans of watching

when black people protested over police brutality the optics were literally never in their favor. white people talked more about the ethics of disruption and vandalism and looting than they did police brutality. and when they maimed and kidnapped and murdered protesters, those names never went viral. so it's real insidious to see how public opinion sways when it's white people in the streets. white people can block traffic and trash ice headquarters. white people get a whole new narrative. they get the martyr treatment. then they act like this violence is unprecedented and something like this has never happened before and we all have to sit here and watch history get rewritten because white people want to be the heroes now. this shit is fucking diabolical.

and the funny thing is white people have truly learned nothing from these protests. their whole playbook was co-opted from blm and yet they're still making excuses for ice. the takeaway for them isn't that ice is inherently evil, it's that trump's ice specifically is untrained and violent. they think the national guard will save them. they think regular cops are on their side. how fucking laughable.

The urge to lie down. The urge to just lie the fuck down and do nothing.

He seems like he’s getting better then he pees on the floor 3 times and poops in front of the big cats litter box. He probably has another week to get it together or he’s home for real this time.
