It's an uncomfortable truth that H is going to have to choose between his old life and his new one to varying degrees, he can't keep them both exactly the same. Either he pulls back professionally to keep a low-key life being out in public and part of his community just like he used to before in Vancouver, or he starts putting up boundaries and engages less directly with his old communities and pursues his career to the fullest. The fact just is he can't be internationally famous AND just some guy from the Vancouver indie scene and he's still in the process of figuring it out. I think part of him still thinks this all could crash and disappear so why burn bridges when tomorrow you could be back to square one? The next 12 months are going to tell us a lot about where and who he wants to be.

i agree with this comment and your response so much. all my opinions on hk have been without taking into account the connor of it all and to me it looks like they're not going to make it bc of how much hudson's life has changed (and bc of that hers too and their relationship too)

IMO unless he stops trying to reach A list status and goes back fully to the Vanc indie scene, it’s going to be complicated to make it work. Just from experience.

I think in a universe where the show hadn't blown up as much and H wasn't dating K, Hudcon would be together for sure. However, the stakes are just too high right now with all the attention they've both been getting, and I'm not saying K is getting in the way because H is so incredibly in love with her and loves her more than he'd ever love C but because she's part of a life he seems unable to let go of. I think H has made it clear that he wants to stay grounded and connected to his pre-fame life, which includes Vancouver, his friend group and his relationship. Not saying that's a bad thing but I do believe it plays a role. Anyway, there's plenty of long-term couples out there who stay together not out of love but out of convenience, the life they've built together, the things they share etc. Gonna keep hoping things change for the best though 🙏🏼

Yes it’s pretty obvious he hasn’t processed that his life has completely changed yet. Mostly he probably didn’t really have time to do so.

I think he’s going to have to self reflect a lot and make sense of what he wants. Even with the Connor of it all, statistically speaking HK has very little chance to work long term even if they were solid (and I’m not getting those vibes but who knows). From what I am seeing but maybe I’m wrong she seems incredibly uncomfortable with shiny events and the celebrity life so I’m not sure how that can work out long term.

Hopefully being in close quarters with a big sexy Russian for a few months can help him find clarity.
