Provoking the crowd definitely wasn’t the way to go though. Kon raised a hand to them, “sorry, she’s from Gotham.” As if that explained it. He stepped towards the crowd, at least they weren’t scared of the S symbol.

“Piggyback ride,” she said. “Instead of, you know, yanking my arm out of its socket. Kara did that last week, and I still can’t lift my arm all the way up.” To emphasize her point, she took one hand off his shoulder and attempted to raise her arm above her head. "See?" 

As she demonstrated, a police car finally rounded the corner, and two officers jumped out. Her gaze settled on the lettering of the Police Officers’ jackets. It wasn’t the standard font that all Police used, though it wasn’t far off. The letters were just a bit taller, almost like someone had put the text into photoshop and stretched it out vertically. 

He's glad that Brown can see eye to eye with him, and understand that there are more important things to handle. Though her insistence that she'll take care of it in the cave remains as infuriating as ever.

"Why are you acting like this some fatal wound or debilitating condition? It's a black eye. Hardly life threatening and need I remind you, I've had worse. At most, I stay out of the public eye while it heals. Problem solved."
