Model Canoe returns to Yap, Micronesia.
The dugout canoe was given as a gift to a US Navy sailor during World War II. It has been returned to the islands by that sailor's adult son, Luke Wilson. The donation was coordinated by Habele and the canoe will be restored and preserved by the master carvers working with the Waa'gey program.
