Nothing’s Carved in Stone ~ Out of Control

            ⌊黑⌉                     Even with her response, he couldn't help                     but feel a little guilty - he was, to some degree,                     human, after all. 

                    "Astronomy?" Eyes widened and blinked                     a few times as he continued to stack the books                     he had knocked over moments ago.

                    "Actually, yes. I love watching the stars."                     He had far too many memories regarding                     the celestial elements and galaxies above,                     all pertaining to his lost little sister. A small                     smile pulled at the corners of his lips as                     he returned his gaze back down to the texts.

                             ❝ Public safety? ❞

                ; This particular individual was already annoying the arrancar. 

                             ❝ You honestly think that I’m going to waste                                  my time harming humans?

He looked so nice. But she can never trust a man completely. Besides, he was looking for a job. How terrible would it be if he actually got a job as a librarian. With her. So far, the whole team of librarians were old ladies with either a almost dead husband or no husband. What would come of the library, her chance to escape, if there was man. 

But what would become of her reputation if she lost her job. She had to have a good reputation to continue killing men. Besides, maybe this man could be her next victim.

            ⌊黑⌉                     Oh, if only he wasn't so oblivious to her background.                     There was no way he could have possibly been aware                     of her intentions or her background. His life                     wasn't the most secure and safest, but he would                     never expect threats to arise while working in a                     quiet little library with such a calming atmosphere.

                    Even as a man who had to keep his true                      nature hidden away during the daytime, he                     could sense no malicious intent from the woman.                     After all, why would he be suspicious of one                     who looked so harmless and was - unlike                     most of the people he met - human?

               The opportunity to find her in this state is a rarity,                in truth. Not clothed in her disguise, thinking it a                quick simple walk down the street to gather                supplies and yet… Perhaps she’d been careless.

                         …No, of course she was.

                Shoulders tensed, moving herself into a state                 of caution. Of guarded hostility when she speaks,

           Placidity had been something            almost unfamiliar to the lithe            traveler, response delayed due            to such seemingly distracting            her      from      the      inquiry.
