Ayurnamat
In all honesty, Alessa regretted ever getting involved with Mason. She was jealous at heart, really, even though she was able to say with complete honesty that she had no romantic feelings for him whatsoever. Having his undivided attention, however, was something she craved but could not demand of him, not really. She knew when his touches were meant for her; they were harder, unforgiving, even violent sometimes (which she gladly accepted). But more often than not lately she’d found him caressing her arms and whispering into her ear, holding her close in what used to be rare tender moments. She knew these were meant for another, but she also knew that she was at fault too.Whenever she couldn’t stand the thought of touching anyone but that person her heart had already chosen for her, she would move and twist and instigate until she was either able to all but ignore his presence or she couldn’t focus on anything else because it was just too much for her.
But now, they were in this. It couldn’t be changed. They needed each other, if only for distraction and release.
