Hecate - Starfire by yours truly, Vulon! This was originally gonna be a character reference sheet, but then it became a massive project that took a long time to finish.... XD guess I make a a new reference sheet for Hecate now! I really wanted to make a mystical magical OC, and I thought what better concept to use than the greek goddess of magic herself? So here we have my design of Hecate the goddess of magic. I did use images from the internet for the background and for the stars in Hecate’s aura and fire, however the character design is mine.

Hello all, Vulon here! I’m a digital artist who finally decided to get a Tumblr! I’m kinda clueless as to how Tumblr works, what’s cool, and that kind of stuff so please bear with me. I know I sound like someone’s grandma trying to learn technology, but I swear I’m not that old. Anyways, this is just a getting started post to let anyone who might read this- who am I kidding, no one is gonna read this- know what I’m all about. I am relatively new to art, and I am really trying to increase my skill level. This blog is really to share my journey with people as I improve. So far I have three artists I really admire, and each has helped me in some way already. I owe so much to these three. First off, binoftrash! Bin has supported me first in inspiration: she was the one whose videos inspired me to begin art in the first place. Later on, she did an art lesson with me one on one (SO AMAZING THANK YOU BIN) and also whenever I send her an email with questions or just plain old internet hugs, she responds. Bin is my hero and my inspiration, and she’s just plain amazing. On tumblr, her username is binoftrash. Next up is my more recent inspiration, right below bin on my list of amazing people: Hyanna-Natsu. On tumblr you can find her amazing work as hya-chan. Her art is not only amazing, it has shaped my style a lot recently and I’ve been given permission to use her work as references for my own. Thanks, Hyanna! You rock! Third up is Jazza, who has not so much helped me directly but has sent out messages on his YouTube channel, Draw with Jazza, that have really made me feel better. Jazza, you’re great! With these three, I’ve really been able to work hard on my art and overcome a lot of challenges! Thats actually what gave me the courage to make a tumblr! So with that said, I’m gonna end this novel of a post and leave off here! Thanks for reading!
