LET'S TALK ABOUT THE RACISM OF THE SPLC AND THE DEMOCRATS, SHALL WE?
Tyler O'Neil just unloaded a FULL 20-tweet thread that's basically a total takedown of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) based on a fresh DOJ superseding indictment.
It's straight-up accusing them of the exact opposite of what they tell donors they're doing. The big picture? The SPLC rakes in billions claiming they're out there "dismantling white supremacy" and fighting hate groups. But according to the feds, they were secretly propping those same extremists up with donor cash through "field sources" (aka paid informants). These folks weren't just snitching—they were using the money to keep the hate machine running: attending rallies, hosting them, growing chapters, recruiting new members, donating to leaders, buying cross-burning supplies, making racist merch, and even covering living expenses. The SPLC even set up fake entities to funnel the cash without it looking sketchy.Tyler breaks it down with specific bombshell examples from the indictment:
They paid over $1.2 million to "F-9," who was tight with (and in a romantic relationship with) an actual SPLC employee while also fundraising for the National Alliance.
Dropped more than $70K on "F-30," a straight-up Nazi, KKK, and Aryan Nations leader who wanted out of the movement. Instead of helping them leave, SPLC put 'em on salary to stay—and they used it to host rallies, recruit, and pump out propaganda.
Same deal with KKK members F-31 and F-32 who got cold feet in 2010. SPLC bribed them to stick around, reimbursed 'em for cross-burning gear, and helped them climb the ranks.
Gave $155K+ to F-42, a former Neo-Nazi National Alliance chairman... while featuring him on their own "Extremist File" page.
Paid $300K to F-37, who was in the leadership chat for the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, making racist posts under SPLC supervision and even arranging rides for more people to show up.
Forked over $350K to a bigwig in the National Socialist Movement and a related motorcycle club.
Handed $19K to the national president of American Front (a convicted cross-burner).
And funded the leader of a "millennial reboot" of the United Klans (KKK) of America.
Then it gets into the actual charges: wire fraud (they allegedly lied to donors about where the money was going), bank fraud (conflicting stories to banks), and conspiracy to launder money to hide the whole scheme.
If convicted, the SPLC could forfeit a ton of assets tied to the fraud. Tyler wraps it up by tying it to the bigger pattern — he's been saying this for years. The SPLC famously sued the KKK into oblivion back in the day, but now they hype up "hate" numbers (including smearing mainstream conservatives and Christians) to keep the donations flowing. He links to his updated book, "Making Hate Pay", his recent congressional testimony, and a new article breaking it all down.
Bottom line from his thread: This indictment paints the SPLC as a massive grift that was allegedly funding the hate it claimed to fight, all while banking donor money hand over fist.
Tyler's calling it out as the hypocrisy bomb it's always been. If the charges stick, it's gonna be a reckoning. Mind-blowing stuff — definitely worth a full read if you want the screenshots from the actual court docs.
