In the VTM setting upon which Bloodlines is based, your body sort of resets itself each evening to the state it was in when you died. So if you died with shoulder-length hair, but shave yourself bald one night, the next evening when you wake up you'll have shoulder-length hair again. Ditto with tattoos: the ink pushes itself back out. You can affix certain changes more permanently by spending Willpower (not used as a stat in Bloodlines) if you really want to keep that new tattoo or piercing, though. Likewise, you can get stronger but it won't necessarily change your frame unless you specifically choose to build muscle mass. Normal vampiric consumption of blood is a supernatural process, so you don't need to expel any waste products like urine. If you've got the Merit that lets you eat food, you still can't digest it, but I think you can at least, uh, allow it to pass through your digestive tract. Either that or you vomit it back up when you're ready.
